With this OL and QB they cannot afford coverage breakdowns for long TDs or allowing big returns and blocked FGs. Coaches looked like a new staff with a rookie head coach. No wuick fix gor yhe talent gaps, but the rest can improve.

But Mac was and thats worse. Mac would have been sacked more then JB was. This offense will improve once Maye is in, I am very confident in that.

We tried to win by keeping it close and getting lucky. Targeted WRs something like 3 times all game. We took big plays off the table. You can make it closer but you can’t win many games that way.
But, we aren’t good football team so that may be the smart play.

The home field 'dis'advantage continues.
That's one of the worse things about these last few years of losing football.
We're terrible at home.
That's the one encouraging thing about this quick Thurs night game - at least it's in NY.
And they don't look great at all.
If we can run on them like SF did, we should have a chance.

I've always said that watching Brissett at QB is like watching grandma drive the school bus. You're just praying nobody gets killed and would consider it a major W if the bus just gets a bunch of scratches and dents.

I have a feeling that once the all-22 comes out, we're going to see just how many plays Brissett left out there on the field. Mayo's presser comment that "we gotta push it down the field" is very telling.

I can only imagine that the pressure to start Maye is going to increase from this point on.

If Maye were in there they would have lost in regulation, although probabky more exciting.

I think your right. Maye would have made tremendous difference. As Joe Murray said on 98.5 post-game he's playing not to losse as opposed to win as Drake is on his heels.

Any QB needs some talent, the Pats have ZERO! No idea how they can miss on so many picks for so long.

Nabors is good MJH is elite. If you don’t like Daniel Jones, your not going to like Maye, he is the same guy, both .500 ACC QBs.

Agree something has to change we've had a full 2 game sample. Our running game is elite. Now we need elite plat at QB!

He had lineman that were beat off the ball and WR who don’t know enough to run hot routes. Joe Milton wins that game today.
