Frustrating loss. Discuss it here.
Actually Ian for some reason I'm as a fan not that upset.. we weren't even supposed to be 1-1 were were projected to be 0-2... we are playing with house money. Quick turnaround Thursday night. The Jets got back on track. Teams with 3 playmakers at WR are always going to be a challenge. Bentley went down and the communication suffered.

At WR.. I refuse to believe that a professional wide WR starting in the NFL can't get open. KB is back after week 3. I think it's time to sit KJ and play polk more. To loosen up the 2 high shell baker should have been in there some. However.. pop is suffering with Brissett at QB.. this is one of those game where I believe Drake hits guys down field instead of sacks on 3rd down.

Maye needs to learn how to navigate the pocket as good as Brissett or he will get destroyed. Once he manages that I would roll with him. Protect the ball and only throw to Henry doesn't seem too hard.

Very few people argued play the vet QB because he’ll give you a better shot at winning. They argued play the vet QB so your shiny new QB isn’t writhing on the turf in pain after taking a hit your terrible oline couldn’t stop.
I saw 2 OL run into each other.. I mean we have a dam good running game top 5 in the NFL.. we need some kind of representation of a passing game. Glad to see coach mention this. I can't blame the defense 3 headed monster at WR.. they did an okay job 2 BS PI calls.

There were a couple of plays where I was sure Jacoby was gonna be taken out after a brutal hit. He looked like he was in pain... a lot.

Right now this team is so similar to last yr. Great defense, great running. Qb sucks, better this yr in that he doesn't throw to the other team. Penalties are down but throwing for 150 ain't going to win much. Maybe will be in soon. Today's QB performance was disappointing. Once they took away hunter Henry Jacoby blew

I was at the game, Jacoby missed a lot of open guys
Our first FG drive (after the TD pass) - watch the 3rd down play before settling for FG...
Hooper ran a skinny post that was wide open from the get go. JB quickly ducked and scrambled to throw in the dirt.
Any pro QB should be able to see that middle field being open. That's just a tiny sample.

MHJ absolutely unstoppable. Drake Maye sits
And would he be unstoppable in NE with Brissett?

You can win a SB with good, not great receivers. You can't win a SB with an elite WR and a mediocre QB.

Geno threw downfield to a bunch of covered WRs but gave them a chance with catchable balls.

Jacoby doesn't even look beyond 10 yards, and seems like he's got tunnel vision (this time to Henry).

This team is competitive enough where if we have even average QB play, seems like it could compete for a playoff spot.
That's what got them their first td on the pass interference

Can someone explain why this team has had almost no game-breakers on either side of the ball since Brady left? I mean I look at a team like Pittsburgh, someone who hasn’t won a playoff game in 8 years, and they have Watt, Pickens and Fitzpatrick. Players that the other team has to be aware of. How do we have nothing? Is it all just BB and bad drafting? Whiffed FA signings? Player development?
The Pats could have easily drafted Metcalf and Pickens and passed, because thier drafts have been abysmal!

The could have taken Harrison Jr who on fire today.

Instead, they took Harry, A Div 3 guard, and the next Daniel Jones…….

This is his THIRD year with the same average catch per game. Don’t think that Jacoby was here those first two years..
But Mac was and thats worse. Mac would have been sacked more then JB was. This offense will improve once Maye is in, I am very confident in that.

I’m fairly confident he already knows how to do that…. That’s one of his biggest strengths

Probably because he was to busy running in fear for his life
That is way too overblown. We all know our OL is not great, but he's getting time to get 2 reads and release. He's just too tentative.
Another reason the pass rush is winning a lot, is the D doesn't have to cover the WR's because he doesn't test them.

Wow. Dugger admits to be the one who blew the coverage call on the Metcalf TD.

Once the review of the film starts coming out I don’t think it will be kind to Jacoby
