Can we close Tom Brady forum?

This forum should be for the current goings on of the Patriots.

But ok to have other ex Pats like Brown and non Pats all on the main forum?

Let's delete all the Bill threads too.

Check with the mods why is it ok with so many BB threads. I think there should be one or a forum like brady has here.

The Belichick situation remains relevant as a fair number of people in here are still waiting to see where he lands. Once that's resolved, we'll probably condense it. But for now, we'll have to see how that ultimately turns out.

That will happen. It'll still be available to access the posts, but I agree, should be able to talk about something related to him in the main forum without it being a big deal. I'll address it over the offseason after the coaching situation works itself out.

If Bill doesn't land somewhere (hard to believe but possible) how would that affect things here? I think it would be like the Bledsoe/Brady War on steroids.

Just rename it the Bill Belichick forum, because the level of controversy and rancor on this board when Belichick has success with another team while the Patriots flounder will make the Brady Buc years seem like kumbaya on this board.

How’s that success coming along? He probably told the Falcons he can “feel it in his bones” when explaining all of his head scratching in-game risk/reward decisions and contrarian draft blunders while telling them he’ll save them money by eliminating their research and analytics team and replace the coaching staff with Judge, Patricia, and Little Stephen.

How long did it take before Brady got his own forum? Months? A year? Some of you were crying for BB’s thread after 3 days.

I’m all for BB’s own thread after he’s landed a job or out as a coach this year and the Pats staff is settled. Until then, endure it.

I didn't realize it, but it was apparently almost a year. There was the one mega thread and then I opened that forum up on Jan 2, 2021 ahead of the postseason, based on the first post I added after doing it.

So it's been what, two weeks? Let's see how it plays out.

Again, we'll probably go with one thread at some point but for now, waiting to see if/when he lands somewhere is something most people - myself included - are still curious about.

In my opinion, it should remain open. But threads relating to Brady with current news or happenings that would be on this board if it was about another player or former player, should be allowed on the main board as long as the thread doesn't devolve into some of the Brady threads of the past.

I never saw the Brady/AB thread, but it was about new news or information, I think it should have stayed on this board.

It ain't my call. But that is just my two cents.
