Right, that's the part people are missing. It wasn't 3rd or 4th down with 5 seconds left. It was 2nd down at around the opponents' 40 yard line with 30 seconds left and you're only down 3. Not panic time. If you don't like it then throw it away for ****'s sake.

Still can’t believe that special teams offsides really happened on a BB coached team. SMH. Yeah they’ve lost their way.

I saw him make huge mistakes all day long today including last drive. Bad throws, Juju on 4th down made a great catch to a badly thrown ball. But consistently Mac was throwing off his back foot, even when there was no one in his face.

Meanwhile Howell on the other side stepped into throws and got walloped. I never even heard of some of receivers. Who the hell is Kris Kringle?
Every home game when the offense is down in front of my end zone especially heading away from us I make it a point to focus on Mac’s footwork, it’s really bad, even when he has a clean pocket and room to step into it, he still throws off his back foot, sometimes he will make a good pass and it’s off his back foot. Every off-season he works with a throwing coach, does this coach not consider foot work as part of the passing game?

He is the giants qb

There are a few good QBs, but I would imagine a decent free agent QB would also be a wise signing. Garoppolo might be cheap to get. Brissett will be a free agent again.
Do you really want to see former Patriot QBs return? - Brissett is more of a backup and Garropolo is the NFL's version of Anthony Davis

Just like the comments said on that tweet, "The ball hit him on the hands, in stride" That is a GOOD pass. Juju Can't catch ****.

I wasn't really focusing on them being ex-Pats, moreso just that they are competent. Another one could be Ryan Tannehill.

I hope the Curse of Brady isn’t 86 years long… I won’t be here to see it end

I don't know. It isn't like this is a team that is still in contention. Nor is it a team that you can trust that on third and eight on the 41 can either pick up the first down or at least get at least five more yards to get into makable field goal range. I didn't have a problem with the situational awareness. I think Brady would make that throw (and Vilma and Chatham would praise him for a gutsy throw), but of course he is Brady and Mac is Mac.

its an extremely weak FA pool for QBs in 2024 - perhaps taking a stab in the draft or a incredible trade with a team giving up an elite QB is a better option

Garoppolo has been no better than Mac this year and he has Devante Adams and Jakobi Meyers as his receivers.

Going from Brady to Mac is like dating Angelina Jolie but ending up 2 years later dating Sandra Bernhard

If you're just looking for a game manager for a year, or even half a season, while your rookie gets acclimated to the NFL then there's a few guys who can handle that. But yeah not a great free agent class if you want a multi-year starter. Rarely is.

If the Bills don’t make the playoffs I wonder if McDermott’s seat warms up a bit and that might be good timing…

People still trying to justify that Mac's not to blame ? Obviously not all his fault, but we all know QB is the ultimate piece to a football team

I think there's like a 70% chance they fire him if they completely miss the playoffs. Their window is slowly closing and they need to capitalize NOW on being contenders, missing the playoffs entirely instead is a huge blunder.
