The only chance he had to blame it on someone else was because JJSS bailed him out on 4th down, just stop.
Yeah. JJSS made a great catch earlier. Therefore, he's ok to drop another catch resulting in a turnover. Outstanding logic dude

If you are basing your evaluation if ANY rookie on his week 1 performance, as Bill seems to be doing, that is lazy and incompetent.
Bill has seen the guy practice 75 times. I defer to his evaluation of a 6th rounder over a fmr 1st rd pick getting the nod on gameday....for now

After the INT, Mac pointed his finger at you:

“Ross, that one was for you. I know how much energy you spend on those playoff scenarios. I just want to make your life a little simpler.”
I should write him a thank you letter

You thought it was his supporting cast that did him in? And not Mac?
I can rattle off 3 or 4 go ahead drives where he was let down by his supporting cast. His rookie year week 1. This year week 1. And today.

I pulled this clip before the point that Gresh paused it. Kraft (Robert) says something (I can't make it out) but I did make out Jonathan's reply. He answers, "I don't have to watch. We're not good enough."

Of course it helped not having Sweat and Young

Get a top qb if they can, just don’t settle. If you know there is a good option in the 2nd at qb, then get Harrison Jr or one of the big 2 OT’s.

Id love a chance for maye or harrison. If not i agree go OT and go from there

Bill usually sounds cranky but today he sounded tired and cranky. Hard to imagine the finish line for Bill isn’t in sight now.

Honestly feel a change of scenery wouldn't hurt both sides at this point.

It’s unconscionable the amount of garbage BB has surrounded Mac with. Draft a QB in the first round and screw him every step of the way
Emmm,,, what has Mac done for you to think he is not the problem and these players around him are not garbage? It may shock you to know that Mac does not throw accurate balls.
The players don't trust Mac and it shows. Give them a QB they can believe in and you will see a different output. Hard to do your job when you know Mac will screw it up somehow. It will not look like his fault but ball placement, WR/TE protection is on the QB through the middle. The last INT I blame the lack of practice between JJ and Mac.

I saw him make huge mistakes all day long today including last drive. Bad throws, Juju on 4th down made a great catch to a badly thrown ball. But consistently Mac was throwing off his back foot, even when there was no one in his face.

Meanwhile Howell on the other side stepped into throws and got walloped. I never even heard of some of receivers. Who the hell is Kris Kringle?

Balances the horrendous roughing the passer call on Washington
Yeah that was awful. I thought maybe they had a bad angle and saw Macs head snap back a little but the official had the perfect angle to see it was a clean hit. Maybe it was driving him to the ground. Idk

I guess I'm through deferring to Bill's decisions re the roster, game day or overall. The recent record doesn't justify such deference, does it really?

This was obviously before the field goal, and my guess is they're both watching the stadium in-app replays, which would have been both the incompletion to Reagor on the 2nd-and-11, along with the miss to Henry on the 3rd-and-11 before Ryland eventually kicked the field goal to go up 17-10. Kraft points and says (as best I can make out) "[indistinct] watch what I mean .... " before Jonathan replies to him.

Even throwing behind Zeke on the Henry pick penalty when no one was around him... Everyone's got a bad throw here or there but it just seems to happen a lot... sprinkled with great throws which makes it frustrating.

It's all Macs fault... but who's the one playing 1950's military school psy-ops with the team??
Who benched Jackson for the first quarter and has us fielding Bryant as a CB2? Who has completely destroyed his OWN drafted WR's by not letting Ty play a down until he has to carry the team due to injury and wonders why his chemistry with Mac is off, and hasn't let Boutte touch the field in 2 months because he didn't tap his toe? Who signs 2 old, slow & injury prone WR's to the biggest contracts while sending away the best home grown WR in a decade?
The players showed that they're not risking their bodies for this HC anymore. It's over. So, does Kraft think it will change next year?
We've been waiting this out for 3.5 years. It's over.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think Mac is very good. But I do think he's an average quarterback surrounded by below average talent, making him play like a below average QB. But at the end of the day he had another opportunity to win the game, which is exactly what you want. And yet again a receiver ushers the ball into the defense's hands. Not every quarterback (and especially Mac) is going to have 4 perfect quarters. Hell Brady had his own stinkers that he still put it together at the end of the game for a go ahead score. If Brady is QB today and he throws that pass to JJSS who are we blaming for the missed opportunity?
