I pulled this clip before the point that Gresh paused it. Kraft (Robert) says something (I can't make it out) but I did make out Jonathan's reply. He answers, "I don't have to watch. We're not good enough."
Gresh is doing some bad lip reading. He definitely didn't say that. If you ask me, he said "I don't need extra chili peppers. I've had better noodles before."

I saw him make huge mistakes all day long today including last drive. Bad throws, Juju on 4th down made a great catch to a badly thrown ball. But consistently Mac was throwing off his back foot, even when there was no one in his face.

Meanwhile Howell on the other side stepped into throws and got walloped. I never even heard of some of receivers. Who the hell is Kris Kringle?
Byron Pringle,
Buried on a deep Cheifs depth chart last year came as a free agent with Bienemy.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think Mac is very good. But I do think he's an average quarterback surrounded by below average talent, making him play like a below average QB. But at the end of the day he had another opportunity to win the game, which is exactly what you want. And yet again a receiver ushers the ball into the defense's hands. Not every quarterback (and especially Mac) is going to have 4 perfect quarters. Hell Brady had his own stinkers that he still put it together at the end of the game for a go ahead score. If Brady is QB today and he throws that pass to JJSS who are we blaming for the missed opportunity?
The future will prove you wrong. Once he leaves New England, he'll be a career backup, and if a Sam Howell clone comes here, the team will rally behind him.

Im not saying we don't need a #1 WR, but this team is going to rally behind any average QB who steps into the pocket, isn't scared, shows guts, and doesn't throw lollipops.

He had 2 beautiful throws today. One for the TD. And one to Reagor. But the rest of them? Tyquan far downfield? The wheel route to Rham? The constant off target short passes (JuJu, Douglas, Elliott).

2 good throws per game isnt very good.

Even throwing behind Zeke on the Henry pick penalty when no one was around him... Everyone's got a bad throw here or there but it just seems to happen a lot... sprinkled with great throws which makes it frustrating.
2 great throws that I can remember. But that's not nearly enough.

On the last drive, he was really weak. Not enough zip, not stepping up into the pocket, throwing off his back foot, scared.

He had a ton of time too on a lot of his dropbacks, like on that throw to Gesicki. He had all day. And he went to the wrong spot.

It blows me away people make excuses for Mac like they want to watch the most boring quarterback I’ve ever seen in my life get an extension.

He sucks.

He’s a dirty player.

He throws his team mates under the bus to deflect from how bad he’s played.

There’s nothing to like about this guy.
I don’t even want to root for him.

Start Zappe.

Just more of the same this week.

In the end you can't count on Mac Jones to consistently put pressure on the opposing defenses...

It was there for the taking... But it slipped out of our grasp, only to land in the hands of a DB, yet again, stealing what ever chance there was to eke out a W...

Whether or not BB is here next year is irrelevant, nothing will change until mac jones is gone.

RKK needs to hire an independant scout or scouting service to take a deep dive into the top QBs in the '24 draft... Then on draft day do everything possible, regardless of the price, to bring them in.

Wouldn't be surprised if Bill just retires, he has to be getting tired of this crap every week.
Agreed. Hard to imagine he would want to pick up and start over anywhere else at his age. I'm of the opinion he gets one more year and then retires.

Blame the guy responsible for acquiring JJSS.

I guess I'm through deferring to Bill's decisions re the roster, game day or overall. The recent record doesn't justify such deference, does it really?
I'm not giving the benefit of the doubt for a 6th rd pick.

Yeah. JJSS made a great catch earlier. Therefore, he's ok to drop another catch resulting in a turnover. Outstanding logic dude
No, I didn't say that. Why did you say that? That would seem to be your logic fail, bro.

That's the issue, to a degree. Mac's the best we have...........yeah, I know.

I can’t stand watching my team and having to brace myself for something bad to happen every single time Mac lines up. Zappe is not good at all but at least I don’t do that with him.
