NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OT: Week 1 Other Games

Literally no reason for Josh Allen to take that hit six yards shy of the sticks.

Josh Allen is gonna get killed one of these days, IMO.
I’m shocked he hasn’t yet… he asks to get blasted multiple times every game

Definitely one thing that Brady did better than anyone - he just simply avoided getting hurt. Like at all. Whether it was the “pliability” **** or just luck, for how long he played and started games and got hit, that ACL injury in the first half of his career was really his only major blow. And he pretty much kept from all the way til retirement into his mid 40s. Most of these older QBs decidedly do NOT have that same luck - they get hurt more, and those injuries linger and become bigger and bigger problems.
Brady would have had that ball out. Rodgers had a window open on a receiver and decided to start spinning and twirling and dancing instead.

How the hell does Allen get away with this crap? He gets upended and lands on his face and bounces up like he bumped into an old lady at the mall. WTF?

I'm definitely glad he's finally getting hit. I'll never forget that first meeting last year where players let up as he was headed to the sideline and he took advantage and then turned back in and picked up yards. In the second meeting, they didn't fall for it and hit him repeatedly. He claimed ahead of the offseason he was going to alter his play and start being smarter about that. Certainly hasn't been the case so far.

He'll turn 30 eventually.

I’ve seen other QBs doing that now too. Mahomes definitely has. Mac even kinda did it yesterday but not nearly to the same degree. It’s frustrating.

Big Ben was just like and defenders would bounce off him. But the hits eventually added up.

Hey now, don’t forget the time that little Jonathan Jones knocked him out of the game

I think our defense may be an effective teacher this year for Allen to stop doing stupid crap
