Let the Zzapper get the reps.I doubt we see much of Mac in the preseason game after today’s practice. I want 60 minutes of Cunningham QB.
Over Boutte Tough one there.Cunningham = Lock
That depends on how effectively you ground and pound and how it sets up the passing game. Running more to set up the pass is still a better philosophy than passing to set up the run.yesterday Bedard said typically Patriots struggle in Day 1 of joint practices and come back much better in day 2. let's hope that trend continues. by all accounts from practice and what we saw in preseason game #1, the offense is really bad.
I was troubled by Orlovsky's comments that he's hearing the Patriots will be a "ground and pound", or at least they want to be, offense...you need to throw to win, and throw past 5 yards, in 2023
I was mostly just kidding.. Both are going to be vital to this seasons success. A TT breakout is exactly what this offense needs. But yeah, he needs to prove he can stay on the field for that.on the other hand, TT needs to toughen up and be counted on to get tackled and not break in half.
As for Keion, he'll be okay, but shouldn't wear him out in camp.
Practice squad risk I can't see the Patriots taking that chance if Boutte continues to practice well.WR corp is going to be tight.
Is Boutte practicing himself onto the team? He won't make it past waivers.
It sounds like TT is doing well, and of course they won't cut bait with a 2nd year 2nd rounder.
I think carrying 6 WR's is a sure thing this year. (At least at cutdowns - they might move one during week 1)
Question is - what do they do with Malik?
