Once again. Show me KC making moves to sign him or even bringing him in for a visit.

An article "KC is watching the Hopkins situations and is interested" doesn't mean rumors are heating up.

I would bet this is to drum up interest from his agent. Since apparently there is none so far.

Camp has not opened yet.

That is when signing Hopkins gets real.

Pats are the odds on favorite to land both Hopkins and Cook. This would be very surprising and I'd be curious how the board responds to adding Cook considering what's he's done off the field.

I think we should just back off from the table stakes . And let him come back to us if he wants to . I know he can be a game changer but looks like he wants money and to be on a super bowl contender. Just save the money for next year and spend on Jeudy or Higgins. Why go after somebody who is just using us to negotiate with other teams . Just call his bluff and expire the offer.

I think it's clear the team has backed off. They had him in for a visit and made an offer based on what they saw, but that isn't a number DHop likes, yet the team isn't raising their offer. ARI didn't make an offer he liked, neither did TEN. The whole league is in the 'backed off' state, there is no team that is 'not backed off'.

The only party that is not backed off is the media. It's the slow time of the year, they have airwaves to fill, they're gonna keep beating the drum till they find a better drum to beat.
