Deandre Hopkins Visiting Patriots Next Week

2019

When AB was available it was bye bye Dmaryius Thomas.
What chemistry was there with Thomas, who was also new to camp? You don't think Brady wanted/screamed for AB?

The Patriots tried everything that one year, one last year for a run. Gordon failed his test (again), AB exploded, and Sanu got hurt.

I'd honestly be stunned to see him not agree to terms with the Titans today. Bills answers about logistics scream something else is up

I'm a little confused as to why the Pats announced they were bringing in Hopkins for a visit. Once Vrabel heard about that, I'd be surprised if they let him out of the building today without a contract...

They can’t hold him hostage.

I believe the team never made that official. It was reported by Breer or someone but not the team.

No it was announced on social media. Very odd. Bill might be trying to drive the price of Hopkins up so that teams like the Titans overpay.

They can’t hold him hostage.
And they don’t have the cap space to make him a Godfather offer, even if they were so inclined.

Also, there is enough mutual respect between him and Bill that I doubt that he would pull the rug out from under the Pats before hearing what he has to say.

The media people (Unfiltered) said the team didn't announce it officially...but yeah your right.

Both good points!

Some stormy skies forming along the Nashville - Providence corridor today... Wouldn't surprise to see him arrive closer to the end of the week than the beginning of it...
What are you, a travel agent?

To me it's just Bill saying "He'll come here when he's done there, IDK when that'll be. His agent will tell me and they'll get him a flight whenever that's available, whenever that is."

Unless they overpay him, he is going to visit as many teams as possible to get the best deal. But if they overpaid him and he had no other visits, the outcome wouldn't be any different.
