The Mahomes/Chiefs Discussion Thread

Belichick's defenses were responsible for winning over half of Brady's NE super bowls, including SB 36, 39, 49, and 53.
Take Brady out of the equation and they win none of them.
Can't even crack 50%. 43% is like Biden's pathetic approval rating.
4x the next guy. LMAO what an ass kicking. That poll is a flex but not the way you think.
Because Brady's defense did all the work vs Mahomes, as usual.
125 rating and 76 QBR in that Super Bowl isn’t the defense doing “all the work”, it’s the QB being awesome. As should be expected for the greatest of all time.

Perhaps you haven't noticed that I'm not a Pats fan anymore...it's not a front.
Lol sure it isn’t. Granted, coping can be rough…

Replace Brady with Manning, Roethlisberger, Mahomes, etc. under Belichick and they'd do just fine, especially with Ernie Adams on staff.

Should be overwhelming in favor of Brady based on his achievements. Unfortunately, it's not.

Then what were his expectations for SB 42 and 46?

Lol sure it isn’t. Granted, coping can be rough…

Even Ian recognized I switched teams. That's why he made me change my screenname. But you're slow.

Um that couldn’t happen because Manning was a Colt, Ben was a rookie in 2004 and Kermit was 7 years old. You know that right? LMAO.

Must be rough knowing your idol coach had a lot less to do with the dynasty than the greatest QB that ever existed and likely ever will exist in the NFL. Take Brady away from those teams- they lose. Period

It IS overwhelming. 4x the guy you think is the GoAT LMAO. He whooped his ass son!
Then what were his expectations for SB 42 and 46?
His expectations were the defense coached by a defensive genius could get a stop against Eli Manning when they needed to. Guess his expectations were too high.

We all cope in different ways. Whatever helps you sleep at night. In the meantime.. it’s Brady by first round KO over your idol!

You're not this dimwitted, are you?

Take away Ernie Adams, and the Pats win nothing from 2001 to 2004.

You do realize that poll was taken before the most recent super bowl, don't you? if the poll were more recent Mahomes would cut into Brady's lead even more! So the reality is Brady is probably under 40% now. LMAO

His defense didn't give up many points in either game. That's what a defense is supposed to do. The QB on the other hand was an abysmal failure in both games.

Ice up, son

I had to correct you and you’re calling me dimwitted? Lmao

Sure they would have.

Imagine actually thinking a poll with the first place guy having 4x the votes of the second place guy is not an overwhelming consensus. Then imagine actually posting that thought here for everyone to see and mock

The QB got the team the lead which is what a QB is paid to do. The defense coached by a defensive “genius” got absolutely punked twice by Eli Manning when it matters most, you know, like a certain QB getting punked twice by the GOAT when it matters most. Who are the abysmal failures again?

Ice up, son
Settle down Beavis.

Tremendous play. Who else could make a play like this?

Eat your heart out Brady you only wish you could make this Mahomes throw…

Even a moron would know what I meant.

You understand the difference between a "plurality" and a "majority," right? And apparently, you don't know what a "consensus" means either...

It took two miracle plays to beat Bill's defenses. It wouldn't have had to come down to that if Brady showed up earlier in the game, like he's paid to do.

Timmy

Would Justin Herbert at 4 years old instead of Brady have won the Super Bowl in those years too? LMAO

Tom Brady has 43% of that vote. Everyone else combined has 42%. That's a majority. In lieu of knowing what the other 15% voted or whether they had any answer at all, this is absolutely a majority based on what we know. And an overwhelming one with the second place guy getting a puny 11%.

Checkmate again. Yer gonna have to do a lot better than this if ya wanna come @ me. LMAO

Doesn't take away from the fact Brady got them the lead and BB's defense failed to keep that lead when it mattered most. Twice.

Also it's too bad Kermit got shut out in the first half of the AFC Championship game or he might have had a win over Brady when it mattered. Guess he just isn't good enough to hang with the alpha dog of the NFL. He'll never get another chance to prove otherwise again.

Kermit is 0-2 against the greatest QB in NFL history when it matters most. That's a complete failure if you think he ought to be in the GOAT conversation.

Well, let's put it this way. If Mahomes was the QB during the past 20 years in NE, the Pats win 7-8 easily. Certainly, they wouldn't have lost SB 42 and 46 since the Giants would have respected Mahomes' running ability.

43% out of 100 is not a majority. Obviously, the pollster didn't include the other 15% because it would have been too many to include in a single tweet. THe bottom line is 57% did NOT think Brady was the GOAT and that number is even less since Patrick won the most recent SB! Brady's likely at 39% LMAO.

Checkmate again. Yer gonna have to do a lot better than this if ya wanna come @ me. LMAO

You are bringing a knife to a gunfight, my friend.

Kermit is 0-2 against the greatest QB in NFL history when it matters most. That's a complete failure if you think he ought to be in the GOAT conversation.

Are you ever going to explain to me why the so-called GOAT QB needed 1) Ernie Adams to help him win his first 3 super bowls and 2) why he's 2-9 against Flacco, Sanchez, Tannehill, Eli, Foles, and Plummer in the playoffs? Or will you ignore this as usual since it doesn't suit your argument?

I hadn't actually seen this foolishness before. Firstly, Brady wins this poll by a massive landslide so only a moron would cite it as "proof" that Brady isn't the GOAT in the eyes of the public. Secondly, clearly some of the respondents didn't understand the question, are stupid, or were drunk.

The majority of America does not think Brady is the GOAT. 43% is pathetic for someone with 7 super bowls. And you're the idiot who keeps saying Brady is the "universal GOAT," which means that basically everyone in the nation thinks he is the GOAT. That poll proves otherwise.

Exactly. It was a 5+ minute drive that burnt plenty of clock. The only thing that mattered at that point was Brady handed Belichick a 4 point lead with 2:42 left in the game. Belichick couldn't stop Eli Manning. Belichick blew the perfect season. (Well, him and the refs.)

I don't care what Mahomes supposedly did after getting completely humiliated in that AFCCG. Epic choke.

Gronk is still the greatest TE. But Kelce will probably pass him eventually. Maybe even soon.
Kelce cant block like Gronk

43% when the next highest QB is at 11% is a blowout. A majority of the country hated Brady and the Pats because they kept beating their teams.

Getting back to the most talented QB of all time, which is the topic of this thread, here's what Mahomes had to say about WR Justyn Ross and his potential. Exciting times in KC!

What on earth makes you think Kermit is playing for 10 years never mind 20? Why should I even ponder that foolishness?

43% out of 85 is a majority. And a decisive one with 4x the second place guy. Kermit's got a lot of catching up to do if he wants to hang with the best since he couldn't do it on the field.

You're throwing batting practice to me and I keep knocking them out of the ballpark. It's way too easy!

And Kermit can't even beat the guy when it mattered who lost to those guys. Gee that doesn't say much for Kermit does it. LMAO
