I specifically said Brady would NOT win NFL MVP in 2022. I also said the Bucs would lose in the NFCCG or SB. The only SB matchup I thought the Bucs could have won was v Buffalo.

I thought Brady would be in the 30's for TDs, he fell way short. I thought his passer rating would be higher (95 or higher) than 90. Otherwise his yards and INTs were where I thought they would be. No question the Bucs 2022 season was a disappointment but Brady wasn't a problem. He played well, won a few games in literally the last few seconds, set more NFL records, and overall it was worth it.

And you don't "embarrass yourself" by finishing second in NFL MVP voting. Brady was sensational in 2021 with a weakened supporting cast by the end of the season (lost AB and Godwin). He wiped out a 24-point deficit in a playoff game before toilet bowles (twice) forgot the best receiver in the NFL was on the field.

More and more people are shifting towards Mahomes. They can see a stark contrast in talent in favor of Patrick over anyone in NFL history at the QB position. Smart people know that Mahomes was young and played tough defenses. Brady did not in those games.

Finished with the same record the Patriots with Coach Bill had so what does that say about your idol? Brady had lots of legit reasons why he had a down year, Bill has only himself to blame.
