NEW ARTICLE: Belichick ‘Still Pissed’ About Mac Jones Going ‘Outside the Building’ For Help in 2022

Corky is a snowflake.

Belichick needs to get up to the times. The days of tough men are over. Today you're dealing with sensitive wine cooler guys who like to go out shoe shopping at the mall. Shoes are a big deal for guys these days. You need a pair for every outfit. Yall saw Corky going down to the locker room vs the Ravens. It looked like they busted his leg half in two. Nope. Never in my days watching NFL football have a seen a puxxy like Mac.

Joe Thiesman had a compound fracture laying on the field which means your leg bone is sticking out of your skin. He yelled at the NY Giants that he would be back.
This post is very funny and this is not necessarily towards you but I always find it ironic people call others snowflake or sensitive for complaining when pointing that out is essentially the same thing.

We're going to just ignore how there hasn't been a single report or statement this off-season that contradicts the whole "Bill is fed up with Mac Jones" narrative? Everything is fine, Bill trusts him and the media is making this up out of thin air to drive clicks, is that what we're doing? Okay then.

People on here were called chicken littles and idiots for believing the Seth Wickersham article. There couldn’t possibly be tension between Brady and BB…

Are we really using the fact that a washed up never was, was cut before the draft as some big cover up everyone hates Bill thing. God you guys are really stretching for this one. Maybe it was , he sucks
Given Belichick's history of running a very disciplined team on and off the field, it is very reasonable to assume he is pissed at how Mac acted during some games and if he indeed went and got advice externally on the team's teachings or tactics. That undermines the coaches.

I don't agree with anything Bill did last year and even I think Mac was out of line.

The Patriots are a middling team now, there isn't even the allure of the "trying to bring them down" excuse. Bill doesn't want Mac as his QB, he's had multiple chances to affirm he's their starter moving forward and has refused to do so. Every report is about how Bill is fed up with him, wants to move him, didn't like his behavior. I mean, at some point if that's not true wouldn't someone say something?

Under NO circumstances should Bill consider moving on from Mac Jones due to supposed attitude issues. And frankly I don't believe for a second that he would. The ONLY reason Bill would move on from Mac right now is he doesn't believe he can win meaningful football games with Mac as his QB.

Twitter is monetized, and it is used to drive $$ to other money makes (print is dying, but TV & radio still generate revenue), and those revenue streams drive $$ back to twitter.....it's all traffic/views/downloads/listens

men's national champ (and women's) done, NHL is still niche and playoffs haven't started yet, not sure anyone cares about the NBA these days, not at least anyone with disposable income......NFL draft is weeks away, no one really cares about baseball until June.....

it's a dead period......but I'm sure it's just coincidence that pieces like this and others are popping out now

just honest to goodness journalism at play, nothing more

By everyone* I meant everyone in the organization, not fans and media. I think they (BB, RKK and the rest of the brain trust) sat in a meeting and said that JJ/FM have a ton of football knowledge, they can handle this enough to get by until BoB gets here. I don't think they had any clue it would blow up as bad as it did.
How much did it blow up so badly because the players followed the media narrative instead of their HC?

The two are not mutually exclusive.

BB might not believe he can win meaningful football games with a QB who second guesses him and then goes behind his back to other team’s coaches about it.

Not surprised in the slightest that Belichick is shopping Mac Jones.

I have for some time expected Bailey Zappe to be the starting QB of your 2023-2024 New England Patriots. Offense was humming on all cylinders the two games he started. I truly believe not starting Zappe against the Bears was the worst error of Belichick’s career- and I’m the biggest Belichick homer in here; I think that move and committing to Jones ended up costing us the season.

With that said, I do think there’s still a small chance they go after Lamar Jackson if the price goes down.

With that being said, I am willing to guarantee there is ZERO chance Mac Jones is starting game 1 for the Patriots. Guaranteed.

My final straw with Mac Jones was seeing him BAWLING after his ankle injury- especially in light of Mahommes playing and winning a Super Bowl with the same injury. I work at one of the busiest trauma centers in America, and I can’t say I’ve ever seen a grown man cry the way Mac did- even with FAR worse injuries.

Unless Zappe turns out to be a very good NFL quarterback, and does so very quickly, like in a season, I don't see how getting rid of Mac Jones helps Belichick turn the Pats into a playoff team this year or gets him to pass Shula (which I personally don't much care about) in the next two or three years.

Yeah that was pretty bad. Aside from his weak arm, I'm not a fan of him dancing around the field - celebrating like Shooter McGavin and talking trash while being as mediocre as it gets.

Belichick gave up on 2022, hiring two defensive coaches to run the offense. Belichick allowed the pair to move Wynn to RT. Belichick watched the experiments through camp, the pre-season, and the early season, and did absolutely nothing to try to resolve the situation.
==========
Shame on the quarterback to seek help from SOMEWHERE. Silly Jones. He thought that we had a chance to win games. He was getting no help from his coaching hierarchy: Judge, Patricia, and Belichick.
=============
And apparently Belichick finally brought in coaching help, from ALA. Surely this will help. Naah! Belichick is much too proud for that. Someone ACTUALLY went around Belichick. GONE!!

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Belichick tried to sign Jackson, or used a 2nd rounder for QB to backup Zappe. Too bad for Belichick, because the Ravens will match any offer. And all the other options are gone, having rejecting any overtures from Bill, if any were indeed made.
===========
LET'S BE CLEAR! I have been a homer since 1980. I have been a "Trust The Coach" fan since before Belichick.

But, I'll say it. Belichick has been acting like he wants to go elsewhere since Brady left, and certainly since Josh left. He seems to be begging for Kraft to have a long talk with him.

I will also add that in the 2022 season Belichick tolerated historically poor special teams play and an offensive line (again Patricia) that was more undisciplined than any in recent history.

This has never been a franchise that comes running to a microphone to defend or refute opinions of mediots

The idea that someone can float something out there and that Bill has to come running to address it is ridiculous nonsense.. He's probably on his boat 8 Rings getting a BJ from Linda right now, not worrying about what someone in the media said or didnt say

From the sound of it, Belichick seems to be unable to accept he screwed up royally and would rather blame others for his mistake.

That's not what it sounds like to me.

So you think Belichick takes full responsibility for the offensive disaster last year because ultimately he is absolutely the most responsible for the disaster. Not Patrica. Not Jones. Not Judge. And people inside the building know it.

Again, the ONLY reason Belichick wasn’t fired for last year was because of his pedigree. Any other coach in the league other than him and Andy Reid would have been fired.
