BB Interview NFL Annual Meeting

Pete and Bill have both been HCs for the last 12 or 13 years. Why not compare those 12 or 13 years head-to-head? Why cherry pick 3 year segments?
Pete Carroll took geno Smith to the playoffs while Bill the Coach was completing his second sub .500 season in 3 years and snorting his way all the way to the bank as the leagues highest paid coach...this isn't about career. no one doubts bill the Coach won when Brady was the QB. the issue is now when he doesn't have Brady...because he is AVERAGE at best without Brady

and?

think carefully....
Can't compare head-to-head because of TB12? Pete won a SB, then lost, and then never got close again. The Seahawks have been rebuilding since 2015. Even without TB12, Pete could have rebuilt. Now he has resigned Geno Smith because that is who he picked. Would you prefer Geno or Mac?

But we should cherry pick 3 years to do a comparison because of TB12?
Bill is 25-26 post Tom Brady. All Coaches look ordinary without great players. Bill is the GM, so it's time to find the next great player. Bill's draft picks for years were ignored because they were winning. However, recent draft picks sure do get a lot more attention now since they are a .500 team in the regular season and no division titles since 2020.

Andy Reid would endorse this message. His teams were just lurking in the AFC, but never was going to do anything until he landed Mahomes. Now they will be the class of the AFC for many years.

And to answer @One-If-By-Sea question of who I'd rather have between Mac and Smith. Smith threw for over 4,000 yards and 30 TD's with a competition % of 70%. He had a great year. Seems pretty clear cut as of right now anybody would take Smith. Things could be different as early as next year.

SMH.. The problem is with you thinking he's being condescending. He's not. Yes. The fans deserve much better than posts like yours.
Why would he say anything? I get off work, check the news feeds, and the media has turned everything into a ****storm about Mac v Zappe v Lamar etc. anything they say will get twisted, turned, and driven straight through the heart.

Doesn't get the assignment...

So you might change your opinion this year or next?

As a GM you have to make a decision and are stuck with it. As a GM, I would take Mac. Who would you take? A one word response would suffice, Mac or Geno?

Old man balls in full effect and on full display. Andy and Bill must constantly shove their short and curlys inside. Those two must swing like a pendulum, back and forth. Ron hate sitting down. Old guys on the forum. How are the jewels as you get older @Joker ?

BB lost some weight and showed up for the coaches photo? Getting really soft in his old age.

My balls sag a bit now and then but it's the prostate I worry about. Getting to be close friends with my doctor's finger every 6 months...my advice to you younger guys...FLAUNT IT while you still got it. Nothing worse than sitting around waiting for the friggin' Viagra to kick in...

It was nothing but a self serving and arrogant answer. As such it deserved a corresponding follow up. I wish a reporter had the balls to follow up with something like "did I miss the news of Brady being your QB again?"

That was a valid question that deserved an actual thought out answer. None of this trust me BS

You say you don't make it about Brady, but you do. You just did, right there in that above post. If you replaced "did I miss the news of Brady being your QB again?" with "can you provide specific reasons fans should be optimistic about the team's future prospects?", I'd basically like your post.

While your heartbeat increases and you begin feel flushed..
Nothing quite like a state of the testicle discussion to begin the day..

or may be trying to get a feel for his next landing spot if things don’t work out with the Patriots. Need to take care of Steve and Brian before he retires.

BGC taking film study to a different level

If BB averaged $15M a year for the last 20 years I don't think the family has any concern about being taken care of.

Yep. The man owns 6 houses on Nantucket. He's all set.

I’ve been on team Bill for years, but I’m done. I don’t say this lightly, but this is a make it or break it season in my eyes. I‘d roll with Mayo right now.

I’m really disgusted with his living off past success and the different standard he holds for himself than he does the players.

For the past 4 years he’s been paid at the top of the market, but has delivered teams that can be described as mediocre at best.

I believe he really does have disdain for offense and views the QB position as just a cog, no different than a guard or a gunner.

Say what you will about Mac, but standing pat at pick 15 in that draft shows that he was prepared to draft Davis Mills to be just a guy to run the system.

I think the win against the Jets last year was his ideal. A game solely won by defense and special teams.

I don’t know what kind of over the top hubris it is when everyone on the planet knows it’s a bad idea to turn the offense over to Judge and Patricia but you do it anyway and subject the fan base to an embarrassment of an offense for an entire season.

He surrounds himself with bum kissers and has thrown accountability out the window (I’m talking to you Cam Acord).

His media ******** has absolutely worn thin on me.

I don’t think he really cares what fans think, but If he thinks there is going to be widespread adulation for breaking Shula’s record limping to the finish line after years and years of mediocrity post Brady I think he’s sorely mistaken.

I stopped reading after the first sentence.

Can we go back to the old man Mooseknuckle discussion?
