Brady unretirement speculation

I don't think he declined physically
I just think it's as simple of him being tired, the whole divorce thing and wanting to enjoy other ventures. He has a lot of other projects
Of course he declined physically. He’s 45 years old. Bodies decline as they age. Brady is amazing, but he cannot defy the laws that govern the natural world.

Maybe he has not declined to an extent that he’s unable to continue to play at a high level, but of course he has physically declined to some extent.

It's March 14. I will believe Brady is retired when I don't see him throwing footballs in September.
It's Miami or nothing. They better have Brady on speed dial in case Tua goes down early in the season. I think Brady will answer the call unless he thinks he has physically declined too much.

It doesn't matter where he is or where he might have gone, Brady is done because he is DONE -- mentally, emotionally and physically. You need to give this a rest.

Finding the right gal however brief should be enough to rejuvenate and recharge him, and make him feel young again,m(and maybe think of a comeback). So what's going on. Where's all the chick's? Is he still crying over the spilled milk a year later...

You must be joking. A woman like that would wear him out, not "recharge and rejuvenate." Or maybe you never heard what sex does to the legs.

Brady to Miami is very real.

# 1 - The Dolphins owner has already been penalized for tampering with Brady.
# 2 - The Mahomes GOAT talk will force Brady to win # 8.
# 3 - Hill and Waddle were a 3000 yard tandem in 2022.

I think Miami's preference is to stick with the 25 year old QB who looked very promising at times last season. Obviously the big question for Tua is can he avoid any more concussions. He had 3 last season anyway, probably 2 in one game. It's a major gamble hitching your long term future to a QB with a dire concussion history. From one standpoint I think it's a perfect fit to bring in Brady for 1 season while giving Tua a full year to recover from the head trauma. Financially it could work because if Brady really wants to play another season, he's not doing it for the money, and he would sign whatever contract that works for Miami.

There doesn't seem to be another opportunity elsewhere for Brady at this point. Maybe the Jets if Rodgers completely flakes out on that trade. If they lose out on Rodgers then the Jets are going to be very desperate for a quarterback and may roll out the red carpet for Brady.

Tampa Bay still doesn't have a quarterback so they would take Brady back in an instant. Brady likely would only agree to that if they let him handpick a new head coach and promised him a future stake in ownership.

The only scenario I see Brady returning is a mid-season return to a superbowl contending team that loses their starting QB.

I think that's a situation that would be too tempting for Brady to pass up.

I think that's why he also decided to wait a year before joining Fox.

Brady to the Phins makes Miami instant Super Bowl contenders.

Tua does not do that.

As much as I'd love to see Brady unretire, based on what we know I really don't think it's happening now.

And GOAT talk by who? Nick Wright? Lol. Brady is the GOAT and it's undisputable for the forseeable future.

How did Montana get totally passed up in this discussion? The Brady vs Montana debate didn't fully end until Brady won his 6th ring. Even team Peyton was conjuring up bogus arguments until Brady won his 5th and 6th. Now suddenly, Mahomes has 2 rings and the debate is Mahomes vs Brady. I still have Mahomes behind multiple QBs but especially Montana who is comfortably the 2nd GOAT. So how about the Mahomes vs Montana debate gets resolved first before continuing any completely ridiculous Mahomes vs Brady debates.

Just a Kansas City Chiefs homer, but I guess there's no difference with your comparison lol

You can tell Brady is the GOAT because he is the guy who is always in the discussion. When people talk about Montana, they are comparing him to Brady. When Rodgers won his recent MVPs and the media was high on him, they compared him to Brady. Now Mahomes has won his 2nd Super Bowl and people are comparing him to Brady. The next time the conversation comes up for someone new, it will still be Brady that guy is compared to.

I could certainly see this in San Fran. They have all the talent - especially on offense - you could ever ask for except at the very questionable QB position.

Right, I kept hearing Burrow was the "next Tom Brady" and then this year's AFCCG happened.

As far as I'm concerned, Montana is firmly in 2nd place regarding the GOAT debate. Any comparisons should be between him and whoever, and not Brady, until someone clearly passes Montana, which is still going to take a lot for any active QB.

GOAT talk by anyone who's anyone in the NFL.

Dude is 27 and already played in 3 Super Bowls

It's more than him.

Well the actual GOAT already won 3 Super Bowls with zero playoff losses at the same age so…he’s got a ways to go.

IOW, Brady has reduced the age old QB question to Who's Number Two? :D
