How much longer will you drink the BB kool-aid?

I reached my breaking point last season. He is to blame for the offense last season. It really was inexcusable in my opinion. Patricia was the fall guy, but Bill either delegated which was a huge mistake or was integrally involved, which shows he's terrible at offensive schemes and play calling.

IBWT should have had many defectors after the 2015 season. Belichick royally botched that season after the 10-0 start. He screwed it up so badly that we ended up losing to a completely finished Peyton Manning in Denver. The series of Belichick blunders to keep that AFCCG out of Foxboro are astonishing.

IBWT should have been dead and buried after Super Bowl 52. The worst coaching decision in the history of the Super Bowl. Belichick cost the team another Lombardi. If that didn't shake your trust then nothing will.

Belichick is an all-time great head coach but he's made some really bad season altering decisions. He's an average GM who's had some really bleak offseasons (particularly drafts). I know Belichick likely isn't going anywhere until he decides he's ready but a sure sign that he's lost his fastball is the team's December and onward record over the last 4 seasons: 8-15 (0-2 in the postseason). His teams are consistently getting worse by the end of the season. That's not a sign of good coaching.

No it’s not. Evidently you don’t understand what a fact is.
You don't think it's a fact that the circumstances of the Brady-led Patriots and the post-Brady Patriots are significantly different? You don't think it's a fact that roster building with an All-World QB in place should demand a different approach than putting together a team around a young quarterback? Okay, then.

If the Pats go back to making the playoffs this season, what's to complain about?

Every dynasty in the NFL has fallen flat on their faces. History tells us that Bill is unlikely to recapture the magic.

1960s Packers - Did not win a SB until 1996

1970s Steelers - Did not win a SB until 2005

1980s/90s 49ers - Has not won a SB since 1994

1990s Cowboys - Has not win a SB since 1995

2000s/2010s Patriots -?

When he retires! Now that the Patricia/Judge era has passed into oblivion & we have a competent OC, I'm looking forward to a major improvement this year.

I think we need at least one more bash Bill thread. Maybe two.

Your argument is the most successful coach/gm ever is now wrong because he continues to want to operate in the way that brought that success, and you think, from your distant point of view, that things have changed?
Except, the results haven't been the same. 3 years is a pretty big sample too.

Well, there is a lot of opinion in that statement right there.

But your opinion that you have determined that Belichick no lingers knows the way to build a football is, of course, an opinion. And my money would be on him being more likely to still know how to build a team that you being smarter than him about it and figuring out he doesn’t.

Slightly OT:
Why doesn't WR coach Troy Brown receive more criticism?

More assets have been deployed to fortify his ranks in the past 3 years yet only Meyers has shown any progression.
Brown's success % is Jackie Bradley-esque

will the in bill we trust droids still be on team bill if they go into the season with the current receiving corps plus a couple rookies and a guy like Philip Dorsett?

Last year is a terrible example. But we’ll definitely know more after this season…which should certainly be interesting depending on how things play out.

Good grief.

He shouldn't because he doesn't draft players, sign FAs, develop game plans or call plays.

What do you want to? Blame him for the ****bag Harry pick and Bourne's uneven year?
