Can we root for Mahomes now?

Look. I think Mahomes is a great qb. He's not a top two qb yet. That list Is garbage.

As recent as two years ago people were saying Rodgers was GOAT. Now he's been thrown to the wayside for Mahomes lol

I don’t know how long you’ve been following football but Steve Young was the GOAT too and so was Brett Favre for a little while. Then a decade of Rodgers and his skillz. The current most skillz’d QB is always the GOAT in waiting. Now they’re forgotten because the new guy got more skillz. Championships are the only thing with any staying power.

Over 15 years. Not as long as you guys but wow it's already been 15+ years

I wonder how this thread would have done under Ian's voting system hehe

I’m just not emotionally invested in hating another team, I guess. Their fans suck but I could care less about rooting against Mahomes and Reid.

You have it ass-backwards: I couldn't care less about their fans but I root against the Maggot, Chumley & Kielce because they - and their fam damilies - All ****ing suck.

Definitely some insecurity around here about Mahomes getting comparisons to Brady or the Chiefs being considered a dynasty (which btw will never touch the Pats).

Not if Park Avenue has anything to say about it.

Marino! Guy diddnt win with the gOaT cOaCh

Fuuuk off

Dan Orlovsky’s list is hilarious. I get that football is the ultimate team game, but Patty at #2 already is the reach of the day lmfao.

Brady

Montana

Manning
Rodgers
Brees
Young
Elway
Favre
Marino
Warner

That’s my super bowl era top 10 with a clear top 1 and 2.

Also think Kurt Warner while he had a relatively short peak, is underrated in these discussions as is Brees.

what do you think about Staubach? the big QB thread convinced me he’s highly underrated

Another reason why no KC wtf is this?

Holy cow Orlovsky is a total ****ing mental case.

But here again we see the national media's absurd infatuation with Mahomes. 2nd?! Seriously, Mahomes is already greater than any quarterback ever except for Brady?

No Montana on the list? Your QB GOAT list is rubbish if you've excluded Montana.

And I'm sorry but get the **** outta here with Marino and his 0 Lombardi's.

I would be very satisfied if starting this upcoming week that over the next decade there was not a single repeat champion.

No I don’t expect the Pats to be in the running for more than one title I’ll change my mind if they somehow are.

This brings back memories. I know this is SB era but where would you have Baugh, Luckman, Graham?

Graham in top 3 with Brady and Montana
Baugh probably next at 4 but no lower than 5
Luckman right there, probably 5-8

I always root for the AFC team. Maybe it goes back to the AFL days. That being said, if it was the Ravens, Colts or Jets, I might have 2nd thoughts. BTW- the fact that its the Eagles makes it even easier to root for KC.
