Can we root for Mahomes now?

Why do you dislike Mahomes though? Because he is a great player?
Why people hated Brady. Because he is a great player and rooting against someone makes things more exciting and fun.

I do not believe anyone dislikes him personally or wishes bad things on him.

You can't say the same for his douche of a kid brother though.
You could retire on the number of tickets you'd sell here for the opportunity to punch him in the face once

His brother is a douche. And very punchable. Even most KC fans are tired of him. An unneeded distraction.

The kid is going to get absolutely pumbled someday in an opposing stadium. He is tempting fate. Not even to mention the twitter and other stuff.

I hate the Chiefs. I hate Tyreek Hill. I hate Travis Kelce. I hate Mahomes's brother. I hate his wife. I hate their fans. I hate that ugly stadium. I hate the state of Missouri. But I do not hate Patrick Mahomes. I actually kind of like him while hating everything around him but being the petty Patriots fan that I am I still can't root for him because he will be seen as a direct rival to Tom Brady and I just can't have that. That being said we are watching a special talent play football and now I finally know what it was like to watch Brady as a non-Patriots fan. You are just in awe of some of the things he does but root for him to lose at the same time and I think in a weird way Chiefs fans should take that as a compliment but unfortunately most of them can't read.
I mean there is a huge difference between Kelce and Hill. Kelce has not beaten up his gf while pregnant etc. He is unlikeable in a frat boy show off kind of way. Hill is in a class by himself.

I am rooting for Mahomes to injure his other ankle.

Maybe with two injured ankles he won't run like he has a giant fist up his ass.
I'd be careful how you reply to his post. He's a Sr. member that runs the forum Casino. There's word he has connections with the Russian mob.

If Mahomes was a right guy he'd have the kid banned from the stadium. He sure as hell wouldn't let him into opposing team's stadiums. Instead he inflicts the kid on every place he plays. That makes him guilty of aiding and abetting douchery.
And we can certainly hold him accountable for it.
I know I do

Hill is a walking talking piece of excrement.

Yeah I know Hill isn't a Chief but I left him on there anyways because to me he is up there with Leonard Little, Rae Carruth, Greg Hardy etc. Hill is in a special category of bad human being where as Kelce is just a tool.

Agreed.

Maybe he does try and get him banned from attending games? Or he doesn't have the guts to tell him to f off. I think the organization needs to do a better job of limiting distractions too. The coach and GM.

So where was the organization before THIS happened?

Russian mob is one of the most dangerous in the world. My grandfather lived there for 30 years. Told me some very NSFW information about them.

Cheering against a player on the field is normal. Especially if they are great. The enemy. Want them to feel the agony of defeat. But sans being a Tyreek or Hardy individual, that is where the hate should end imo. I don't think it should get personal to the point of wishing injury or what not. Many here probably dislike playing against Josh Allen. Cheer against him. I doubt most would be happy if he tore an ACL in a game against the Pats though.

These guys are all in the same boat. They put their bodies on the line every week for our entertainment. We don't get to experience what NFL players guy through Monday morning. Especially QB's who get beat up pretty good. I can't imagine the pain.

I certainly understand fans are passionate though. NFL has the biggest fan base in the world. With Hockey, most fans follow just their team. In NFL, most watch other games too.

Jmo.

Pay your debts, and there will be no problems. Don't listen to @venecol and his horror stories. We caught him skimming off the money collected from our Casino whores while even sampling the goods. We only remove pinkie from both hands. Left him still a whole man but with a lesson delivered. And he still works for us! Very fair.

In Mother Russia, we would send baby brother Mahomes to Siberian work camp. That would humble the little **** quickly.

The talented brother likely has unconditional acceptance of his brother. We respect that in Russia. It wouldn't save the silly boy, but we respect it.

Yes, we respect. Maybe even say prayer of comfort for family after his fatal fall from 1st floor window

I don't know about anyone else, but I hope we see a lot of Mahomes' vapid wife and idiot brother this week so it makes it easier for me to root for the Eagles next Sunday.

I’m just not emotionally invested in hating another team, I guess. Their fans suck but I could care less about rooting against Mahomes and Reid.

Definitely some insecurity around here about Mahomes getting comparisons to Brady or the Chiefs being considered a dynasty (which btw will never touch the Pats).
Me either.

Who I want to win has absolutely no bearing on what will transpire on the playing field. KC is a dynasty. 5 consecutive AFC Championship games at home. 3 Super Bowl appearances in 5 years.

I hear you, but this voluntary and motivated by becoming millionaires. It sucks to deal with these injuries, but these players do choose this career. And many people in the world go through hell on a daily basis to earn a living without earning 7 figures.
