It's easy, and only takes a few moments. No team will give up what the Ravens will want without giving him the contract he wants. If no trade, the Ravens will have to pay him $90MM guaranteed over 2 franchise years.Yeah but that was his choice. They offered him a really good contract and stuck out for fully guaranteed. Not only will be not get a fully guaranteed contract for more than two years if that from any team in the league, but he has likely burned a bridge with a really talented team. Playing under the Tag would be his best option next year. But I think Baltimore moves on from him. Tag and trade is most likely in his future. If I was his teammate I would want nothing to do with him next year.
Probably just early game nerves. We used to see it from Tom too, but that typically went away as the game went on.burrow looks to be lobbing the bal
He holds onto the ball too longBurrow is gonna be lucky if he finishes this game
They changed to the new passing rule we have now where you didn't have to complete the process of the catch through to the ground.I didn’t remember that about 2017, do you remember what the rule change was?
I absolutely hate throws with the season on the line that are short of the stick….Crazy finish. Kirk Cousins being Kirk Cousins... No idea what he was thinking on that final throw.
Yeah I wouldn’t go for Hopkins and Higgins both. It’d be nice to also keep Meyers but that may be hard financially. Maybe they do, knowing they won’t keep both of Parker and Bourne past 2023 - just one. Whoever they keep would be the WR3 or 4 so probably not a big contract value at that point. And that’s assuming Thornton or another drafted WR doesn’t ascend.Him, Parker, Bourne and bring Jacoby back and that is a solid receiving corp. Would love Hopkins too but Higgins is obviously much younger.
Have to at least take a shot. An incompletion is the same as getting tackled 5-6 yards short, but you have 0% chance if you don't at least throw it to someone past the marker.I absolutely hate throws with the season on the line that are short of the stick….
Me? I throw it to Jefferson…triple covered? I don’t care…
Everything I've read about it has been positive.Has anyone seen The Last of Us? IMDB says 9.6 that's got to be fake right?

The Constanza philosophy. In fairness, that was the game where Patricia decided in the first half to take every one of his instincts on how to call an offense and do the exact opposite. That was the only time all year Jones had a real NFL offense to run.

I don't disagree. But as I have said before, you don't give a dude who relies as much on his legs as he does his arm a fully guaranteed contract at those numbers. That is nonsensical. Then add in the time he has missed and any GM that makes that deal with very little doubt just set his organization up failure. No team will give up what the Ravens will want without giving him the contract he wants. Ravens should have extended him after year 3 or traded him. A team that keeps a very good QB to 5th rookie year loses all leverage and becomes at mercy of said player.
The Meyers situation is frustrating. They don't have a guy who finds a way to get open, so if they lose him, they're basically left trying to find that shifty type of player because it's not Bourne. Hopefully, they at least figure out a way to meet in the middle and keep him.Yeah I wouldn’t go for Hopkins and Higgins both. It’d be nice to also keep Meyers but that may be hard financially. Teams get caught up in using their best WR as a decoy too much. I would rather lose throwing up to my best WR than try and get cute with 3rd or 4th option.I absolutely hate throws with the season on the line that are short of the stick….

You're right, but the guy was right there. It would have been different if there was space between he and the DB to make a play and elude him, but that wasn't the case.???
If you throw it short, and the receiver beats his man, you've got the first down.
