This is one of those soul crushing losses that the Chargers may never recover from. They have a ton of talent, and no way they should have lost this game to the Jags.

What t law just did is really underrated. 2 picks that weren’t his fault. Then 2 bad picks. 4 total picks in 20 min. Down 27-0. Never flinched in his first playoff game. That’s was ultra impressive. Special player
thought they were going to put Zappe in. seriously his coach probably told him dont worry about the ints and just do your thing

This doesn't really belong in this thread but I didn't want to start a new thread. Something unusual from the NFL's front office brand of justice.

The Packers Quay Walker was fined $13,261 for shoving a Lions team physician who was treating a Lions player lying on the turf. He was ejected from the game.

The Lions Jamaal Williams was fined $18,566 for a touchdown celebration. No penalty flag thrown.

Seems like it should be the other way around to me.

Went to bed and missed the ending. Haha
Eagles fans are calling for another Doug Pedersen statue. This time in Jax.

turn overs really dont mean **** if your team can put points on the board.

I think Herbert’s career will be similar to Brees, but maybe without the SB

big passing numbers year in and year out, but only maybe one or two years where he can be argued the best, and not enough winning. blame the head coach all you want (and people should, he’s not good) but if your team wins the turnover margin 5-0 in a playoff game, I would expect a QB to deliver the win

Coaching matters. This notion that elite QBs can simply carry average coaches to multiple super bowls is complete nonsense. No QB in NFL history has ever won multiple super bowls for an average coach. We've seen QBs win an occasional super bowl for an average coach, and a great HC win a super bowl with an average QB, but it's never been multiple.

Look at that play selection by a team with the lead.
Yeah insanely dumb. I'm guessing that the the coaches wanted to surprise Jax by doing the opposite of what was expected.

But still it does show that Herbert had a lot of chances to keep the Chargers ahead. I have hard time seeing Brady, Mahomes, Burrow, and Allen not keeping ahead. Herbert is supposed to be at their level.

Um, this is a New England Patriots forum...I don't think anyone here has a "southern football bias," lol.

Also, yes, Trevor Lawrence is very one-dimensional QB. We saw the Chargers take away the short passing game, it worked just fine. Then they stopped, and Trevor dinked his way back into it.
Sounds like you have a different definition of dinked, as I saw a lot of non-short completions (talking about where it was caught not the end result), and that didn't even include the 4TDs, which were definitely not dinks. That being said, TL's longest air yards completion in his career is only 51yds, which is surprising given his supposed canon for an arm.

TL so far has 6 4thQ comeback or game winning drives in his career to Mac's 1.

How? They lost to the pats in an ot game that they didn’t touch the ball.

Won a s bowl

Got pummeled in an s bowl

Won a game they easily could’ve lost if bozo bills did squib. Got ball first in OT took advantage and won.

Did you NOT notice what 345Park did at the end of the regular season?!?

if not for Brady mahomes might have 3 rings

Don't worry, the suits & skirts running this Crime Syndicate will ensure that this happens, with Many More to come.

So now we see how the 17 game regular season affects the playoffs. I wonder if the Chargers would have held on had they not lost Mike Williams in their week 18 game?

But of course, the NFL is supposed to be concerned about players' safety. No. They are mainly concerned about money.

Melonhead Dougie (& the rest of the Philthy Fecals) was a pompous jerk after SB52 (and we ALL know the REAL reason why they won), and I'm sure I wouldn't have liked him if we were classmates in high school either... But the dude can coach, especially QBs.
