Since the Pats have a 3rd place schedule. . . .

Home:
BUF/MIA/JEST
NFC East: WAS, PHI
AFC West: KC, LAC
3rd place: IND, NO

Edit: There is a significant chance that one of the above games could be played in Germany.

Away:
Home: BUF/MIA/JEST
NFC East: DAL, NYG
AFC West: DEN, LV
3rd place: PIT

so new orleans would be the "17th" game? Thats kinda cool but its at home... it would have made for an excellent road trip game...

maybe ****sburgh would be a decent road trip... never been to a game there

Looks like we will be in Vegas again this year . Time for me to make a road trip. I couldn't this year and just as well as I would have lost it with that lateral !!!!!

Very favourable schedule but of course there are always a bunch of teams who surprise.

I dunno, I think that is a tough slate. Obviously the AFC East itself is in good shape. Then beyond that, they're playing the AFC East which is one of the best divisions top-to-bottom in the league right now, plus the Chiefs and Chargers (playoff teams) and the Raiders who will be a pain.

Put another way, here are all the games they have to play next year against teams that are playoff teams in 2022:

Buffalo
Buffalo
Miami
Miami
Kansas City
Los Angeles Chargers
Philadelphia
Dallas
New York Giants
- 9 games

Then here are the games against teams that were within 1 game of making the playoffs in 2022:

Jets
Jets
Commanders
Steelers
- 4 games

I get that but I always judge schedule exuding division as those are always set.

KC, Eagles, Steelers and Cowboys are the tough games. LV and Chargers are not easy but we always seem to play them well.

As I added above, there's a significant chance of a "home" game in Germany in 2023.

Yeah, historically the Patriots have been able to handle the Chargers and Raiders. I'd put the Steelers in that bucket too. I agree that the Chiefs/Eagles/Cowboys jump out as the most challenging games, but you never know what teams will rise or fall year to year. Obviously before this season started, we did not consider the Vikings game to be a tough one.

My way-too-early prognostication based on the assumption that the Pats hire Bill O'Brien and fire Cam Achord:

Sweep Jete
Get swept by Bills
Go 1-1 with Dolphins
vs Commanders - WIN
vs Eagles - LOSS
vs Chiefs - LOSS
vs Chargers - WIN
vs Colts - WIN
vs Saints - WIN
at Cowboys - LOSS
at Giants - WIN
at Broncos - WIN
at Raiders - WIN
at Steelers - WIN

Season record: 11-6

Who's traveling to Denver? Drinks on me.

Home
Buffalo Bills
Kansas City Chiefs
Los Angeles Chargers
Miami Dolphins
New York Jets
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Commanders
Pittsburgh Steelers
New Orleans Saints
Away
Buffalo Bills
Dallas Cowboys
Denver Broncos
Miami Dolphins
New York Jets
New York Giants
Las Vegas Raiders
Indianapolis Colts

Mod please merge

Honestly, I think this schedule is fine. I expect alot of those teams to fall back and if we can address our online and a WR with perhaps another corner then I think we should be very competitive.

10-7

Id say that’s not a cake schedule but I’m sure lots will change between now and September.

This will be one of the toughest schedules in the entire NFL, not favorable at all. 10 playoff teams.
