Bill Belichick: Highest Paid Coach in North American Sports at $20m per

Congrats, you're the only person in the world who thinks that. Good attempt at trolling.
I'd take BB as coach and Scott pioli as GM...

Is this the correct figure for his remuneration of services to the Pats?? We have always heard rumors, not sure this is the definitive number.

If there was an effort to quantify this salary, BB has won more Super Bowls that Carroll, McVay, Tomlin, Reid and Harbaugh ( the next 5 coaches on this list) combined. If this reported salary is true, he is worth it.

That was Then; This is Now.

25-27 his last 52 games... That's Jeff Fisher sh!t right there.

Aaron Rodgers is just plain weird.
You brought him up, so here you go!

Do you think Belichick wins a playoff game without Brady?

Never has; never will.

EDIT: With the Patriots that is; he was 1-1 in the POs with Cleveland.

That may be, but the argument was whether or not he would have equaled Brady's six titles with Belichick. I don't think that would have been the case.
When facts aren't on someone's side, they resort to playing make believe because when you play make believe you can say anything you want.

"If Peyton Manning played here, he would have 6 Super Bowl titles." This is a ridiculous statement but there's no way to prove it is incorrect. So, like I said, it is what people fall back on when facts just don't support their thesis.

Some people have facts and stats on their side. Others play make believe and what if.

Why in the world? I can't think of any reason it's a mystery to me. I can't think of 1 reason you'd think if he were any good someone could come up with at least 6 reasons. I mean that can't be hard.

Because players get older and slower.

Coaches just don’t forget how to coach.

You don’t think Belichick would have the Bills 12-0 right now?

No I don't, especially if he brings ANY of his Unqualified slappies with him.

The MVP of the NFL.

What an idiot Harbaugh is
I've never considered Harbaugh an idiot, just a crybaby. That's why I gambled 5K dinglebucks on him for coach of the year. He still may get it, but then, he's only a coach.

The MVP defense for Lamar Glasskson is comical. Always has been. When he gets a little closer to PEDton Mannings 9 one and done playoffs maybe we can revisit this discussion. He's off to a great start.

YOu asked whether Bill can win a playoff game without Brady. I presented evidence that he did, and now you are backtracking and changing the goal posts.
Can he win another within the next 10 years?
How many legendary coaches won super bowls with average QBs? I can think of two - Parcells and Gibbs. And they won SBs in an era where you could win with a strong defense and strong running game. Can't do that anymore.
Youre confirming you need elite qb play, thanks
I suggest you do so yourself so that you can add a few brain cells in the process
I already acknowledged it, youre the one that thinks he can win with any dink and dunker

I absolutely think Manning would have won at least 4-5 SBs with Belichick. Guy won 2 SBs with Tony Dungy and John Fox.
Worth mentioning, he was dragged to the finish line in 2015 by one of the best defenses of all time, managed by Brock Osweiler after he was benched.

The 2nd super bowl win was gratuity. John Fox and Manning were hood ornaments on that team.

I agree, I think he would have multiple titles with Belichick as well. But six? I don't know, and I definitely don't think they go to 9.

Of course not.
It's odd to see how some fans think that Bill has the ability to improve any team, even though his faults are plain to see here.

I think Brady had the one character trait that made him the perfect QB for Bill. That was his willingness to suppress his own ego and respect Bill's authority. I don't believe that Manning or any of the other high ego type QBs would do that.

He would absolutely improve a team when you're talking purely from an X's and O's standpoint. The question would just be to what level, and I agree, that would absolutely depend on the people he had around him.
