Yup look at @venecol ’s avatar…making fun of the guy for getting hurt. The people who want Mac to fail are the Bradyites and a handful of Zappe fans…what’s worse is that a bunch of them want Mac to fail so that Belichick looks bad. Just read the whole Timmy forum…

And here I hoped you had left for good...

Idk he did came up big (6 rec 110 yard 1 TD (a great one) and was the difference against the Steelers, so I can't say never but ya he also had 2 big fumbles against the Dolphins and Ravens that pretty killed potential comebacks and now this (although he did have a TD so Nelson giveth and Nelson taketh)

I was hoping he’d have better hands and run better routes.

While it's pretty bad, the talent around him isn't very good which many posters are still in denial over. In fact, the board has been bipolar on Mac and this team. First they say the overall roster and coaching sucks, then they say the roster is fantastic, coaching isn't an issue, but it's Mac's fault. Mac needs more experienced coaching, the musical chairs at OL needs to end and he needs better talent at WR. Posters like to point out one or two plays from Twitter that a WR is wide open to make it look like Mac is incompetent, but they have been graded out as among the worst at separating from their defenders going on 4 years now.

Then what exactly is this the week for?

Well, if someon's not capable of handling what were very easy and broad notes based upon obvious realities with regards to the game on Thanksgiving day, it may be the perfect week for prepping the yard for the upcoming winter.

The only guy failing Mac is Mac Jones.

The Pats had to settle for a FG before the Vikings half because he dove on the ground and called a timeout when he needed to throw the damn ball away. You cant do these stupid things and beat good teams like Minnesota.

Perhaps Mac could be playing better but it’s no excuse for a patriots fan to be rooting against him. Every patriots fan should be cheering for Belichick, the coaching staff, and the players to do well.

I donr 100% disagree with you. But Mac had a lot of poor throws and decisions. And his pocket movement/awareness has been horrid up until this last game. I really liked seeing him have a coming out party though. I'm hoping he can build on it and elevate his recievers

Corky should've thrown to Double-H.
When Mac is releasing the ball, HH is just turning around to look for it. Two DL have beaten their man and are almost on Mac, one from each side. He has nowhere to run and he had to release the ball like right then. If NA keeps running his route, he had a good chance of making that catch. Pass was excellent.

I agree , but the coverages on defense I don't get.. Dugger on hockenson, supposedly JJ was double covered.. Wilson or peppers are better coverage safeties than Dugger.. Gilmore would have never allowed those long completions..

However, maybe it's good thing defense got a bit humbled.. maybe they'll show some pride and force Buffalo to punt at least once!
They had some breakdowns no question but did enough to win. If Strong doesn't RIK they would have allowed 19 offensive points.

Can you repeat that and then still tell me it wasn't irrefutable?? You're acknowledging one angle showed the ball hit the ground. Who cares what some other obstructed view showed at that point?
Is this obstructed?

When two angles show completely different results how can one be right and the other be wrong?

By definition that is not irrefutable because something is refuting your interpretation.

The prudent thing to do was to allow the call on the field to stand.

Patricia has no idea what he is doing and has no idea how to call the flow of the game. It's like he is doing "ask Madden" and calling plays that way.

People dumped on McDaniels alot. But you can see the difference between a real OC and some bozo given the job because he's a bill yes man.
I think the plays themselves recently have been *good* but not in the flow of the game, I agree. I hate the 5 wide on third or fourth and 1 stuff.

I really like the running game but reverses in the red zone are the worst.

Absolutely agree the D is the reason why we have a winning record at least... however some on this post seem to think Dugger is is a coverage safety, he's not that, he an excellent box safety and has great sideline to sideline ability.. however hockenson is 6" 6

I think Dug is improving in coverage and the numbers bear that out. I wouldn't say he's a liability but not close to being good enough to contain Hock.

Spot on, he's got great instincts, and he's always making plays in the back field snd around the line of scrimmage.. it's just to many offensive weapons can't contain them all.. however defensive line has been excellent.. even not getting heavy pressure on cousins.. shutting down cook was excellent! Adrian Wilson and or peppers are better suited with thier abilities to cover.. people forget peppers was a 1st round pick who played st an all pro level prior to the ACL. However, forcing a punt on Buffalo is redemption in my eyes regardless of the outcome..
