Problem #1: OL QB protection
Radical scheming needed to make up for lack of talent & execution even at the talent level. Standard approach is NOT working.
I'd add a 6th OL for protection given that Mac shows he is accurate on passes when he has time. Let him thread coverage.
Try extra OL pulling to middle to protect against delayed up the middle blitzes or beating the weak Center-Guard combo.
Alternatively 2 RB backfield with Harris picking up the rusher.
Also consider roll out right with extra protection there by a TE held in to block. He has hit his roll right passes when not about to be hit.

I can't speak to your specific suggestions, but I definitely think it's time to try some stuff like that. May only work for a short stretch before the better defenses key in on it, but if it buys them an extra win somewhere, could be big.

I'm just curious to see how Mac will fare in a dome environment this year. No wind. Some loud noises. 3-1 in a dome for Mac so far (with the only loss that Colts self destruction). I guess in preseason in LV, he looked terrible.

You want the craving for a turkey dinner sandwich to coincide with half time, so use that as your marker and count back.

This match starts a series of games where we will face a true Elite receiver, meaning we are probably locking him up with 2 guys all the time. Last time we faced this was against the Dolphins and that turned out less than desired (but I think the receiving talent in Miami is just next level)

For as good as our defense has been, I think this poses a new challenge for us. Of course, if we get to the QB fast enough, we dont need to worry too much about the secondary
Miami basically looked at our videotape against the Bills and said, "The Patriots LBs can't cover," so they just ran Tyreek underneath over and over again knowing we needed 2 on Waddle. It's the formula against the Patriots D. Take advantage of Tavai and Bentley.

It's an even bigger problem for him since the loud noise forces you to give away the snap count.

Hopefully the Viking fans will be doped up on tryptophan.

Put up 5 and we win.

Since the MIA game our secondary is deeper. Jones cubed, Mills and if desperate Bryant is pretty good.

Easiest way to take the crowd out of it is to score, shut 'em down and run the ball down their throat.

Minor fix, but accurate I think.

Dalvin Cook running the ball. That’s what has me worried. Then Cousins play action passing. That’s the recipe for the Vikings.

And the Cowboys have a lot of talent on D. Don’t think that this will be anything other than a close game.
How is our talent any lesser ?

We have Judon for Parsons
Jonathan Jones for diggs
Armstrong for wise

Our safeties as a group are much superior .

I fancy our chances and our running backs are better than Dallas. So just pound and kill em.

Not really. I just follow a few rules:
  • No 24 pounder - stick to 12 to 15 and cook two if needed.
  • Brine that bird!
  • Make sure the skin is very dry before the final season and cook
  • Don't stuff it - if anything some onions/herbs/citrus in the cavity, but that's it
  • Let it rest before carving - like 15 minutes or so

Add cheese, an apple and honey mustard and it's ****ing good.

I like our chances. If Patricia can call similar plays like what we did to browns , this could be similar . Average defense with average offensive lines .

So Mac should have more time to pass and running backs should be able to gash more. Having man coverage on Jefferson and cook while giving less than 3 seconds to cousins and that too on prime television , I fancy our chances .

Mac has cut down on his interceptions the last two games . So he just needs to be a game manager and we can win against vikings .

Vikings aren’t a very good team, but in today’s standards, they are considered to be good. This game will be a test for both teams - Vikings will be anxious and not want to lose twice straight in front of a home crowd. Patriots will have a short week on the road.

I have no issues with my turkey being dry. I use a roaster to cook it after brining it for 3 days.. Always juicy and tender. I got made the Turkey cook by my inlaws because it comes out so well every year.
