How on earth can some people not see how terrible Mac Jones is?Yeah both are too high.
We are in trouble because this team does not have a QB.

Like some have said, defense is what wins championships. Remember Trent Dilfer and the Ravens? If the offense can get their sh*t figured out, a deep playoff run can happen. Its a very big IF though.

I thought ESPN came up with QBR to make themselves look smart and hoped the NFL community would embrace the rating. Of course QBR is junk, which is what you expect from ESPN.Nah the thing is we know what is baked into passer rating unlike QBR. Therefore we know the context of passer rating and some of the obvious flaws baked in. While QBR is more subjective.
Passer ratings' issues are that it is heavily reliant on completions (regardless of whether they were contextually good or not) and it would rather you take a sack than throw a ball away even if the situation merits the latter.
QBR will sometimes say a great game by a QB was bad or that a mid game was the greatest game ever recorded. And they constantly tweak the formula. I'm actually convinced QBR was invented by ESPN so they could make Tim Tebow look good.
Going into this game the Vikings were 17th in team DVOA and mediocre in all three phases of the game. They shouldn't be 8-2.
3 ptsJust STFU, you are pathetic. The PATRIOTS won today, try to enjoy that for a few hours at least.
Dang, nice observation. Missed it during the game. Love it! He looked pretty fast for a lineman!
Did you see Mac Jones' QB rating in the last three games. Its a trend.
1. NY Jets QB Rating 80
2. Ind. Colts QB Rating 89
3. NY Jets QB Rating 105
How would Patricia look?
As soon as Jones went by the first Jet player I started to laugh and kept laughing harder as he went. Same old Jets. The only thing that took away from my laughter was the incredibly stupid penalty as Jones was going into the end zone. That was a block in the back and could have easily been called. The Pats probably still would have won 6-3 but the non-call helped everyone who bet the Pats.As horrible as that entire game was. That PR made it all worthwhile.
A lot to be frustrated with, but a win is always a win. Especially when it means you sweep the Jets.
After reading this post, you'd never know we won today.
Enjjoy the win!!!
I think this season has gone as we expected. The consensus was that they'd have a good defense with an offense that will improve. The only issue is that the offense hasn't improved as much as we expected.Don't you know? Every team the Pats are about to play will be a serious challenge and tough to beat, and then if the Pats beat them, they were actually just tomato can fraudsters who could be beaten by the local high school team, and the Pats shouldn't be given any credit - really, they should be chastised for not winning by more.
