Teper says he still wants to win, their draft position be damned...

we will see if those are just hollow words...

Saw that. Ugh.

The Bills earlier had their eyes on Barkley.
Either player with the Bills offense is a scary thought.

Not worried about it. McCaff is expensive and I think he would make the Bills offense incrementally better.

As long as the Panthers get a massive return, I’m all for it. Between the cap ramifications and the draft capital they would have to give up, the potent Bills will be ending any sustained success before it gets started.

They are pretty well built. They really don't have superstars outside of Allen and Diggs. Tre White too but they're winning all these games without him, they've invested a lot of draft choices on the DL and DBackfield. I just don't think they will be hurt very much at all by any of their players leaving. It simply won't matter much as long as Allen and Diggs are there. This really looks like a long-term thing with them.

Allen and Diggs can’t win a superbowl by themselves. The Bills have built a very solid roster around them. Give up a bunch of premium picks and take a big hit to the salary cap will no doubt see them weakened over time. Throw in the fact that the player they’d be giving that all up for can’t seem to stay healthy, and you’ve got yourself a bad investment. Don’t get me wrong here, in the short term (if he can stay healthy) CMC would make them a stronger team, but being able to hold onto guys like Hyde, Poyer, Milano, White, Edmunds gets that much harder.

His injury history is a concern. I wouldn't give up too much for him. Look for the Bills to be a team Damien Harris goes to in FA if this doesn't work out.

But the players you mentioned are either long in the tooth (Hyde, Power), not even playing (White), just a good player easily replaced (Milano), or a disappointment that they are definitely not going to sign anyway (Edmunds). Couple that with the fact that the Panthers are on the hook for McC's signing bonus.

Yeah Bills have a lot of JAG's on D. McDermott has a good scheme that makes guys like Milano, Poyer and Hyde etc. better than they really are. The scheme only takes them so far as they get ripped to shreds vs elite offenses.

How are the Bills able to get all these players ? I thought they had very little cap room available .

If BB traded for Mccaffrey you would be doing cartwheels

Nope. I would prefer Rham on a rookie deal, elevating Kevin Harris to RB2, and Pierre Strong growing in the 3rd down back role.

We are likely parting ways with Damien Harris and CMC is due to earn 11.8M next year. He is gonna be like LeVeon Bell....in search for any team to pay him top RB money. A lot of RBs are likely to hit the market next year.

Now, I would do cartwheels for Davante Adams....

Why would anyone take on that contract for an injury prone rb? Kareem Hunt makes much more sense.
