There were a couple of key plays by Wynn, a penalty and a missed block, that also helped derail the Pats. Not to mention Algholor's fumble. And then there's Judon over-pursuing Jackson and letting him get around the edge on a big 3rd down play, even though it was the only opening Jackson had. Judon seems to do that with Josh Allen too and gets faked out of his jock.
As bad as Mac has been this year, what will BB do after Mac's ready, if Hoyer ends up playing better and winning?
And it was the ONLY reason why anyone would've ever considered drafting him on day 2 instead of somewhere between 121 - 158... This ****ing sh!t doesn't make any ****ing sense at all.
The ball was still in his hands, and he should've known with one look that the corner route was a loser and gone somewhere else... Parker shares in the blame along with his QB & OC.
Agree. And Parker ended up playing it like he was a decoy or blocker on the play, he didn't do anything an actual target would do such as get to the corner and look back.

The problem with 50/50 balls is that they're 50/50 balls. And Mr. 80/20, even in a game where he was showing his upside, showed us why Miami was happy to move on from him.

If the Patriots had taken Lamar Jackson. They surely would have used his talents in some way, to make use of his legs and arm. But with TB12 here, Jackson's first full season starting would be 2020 if we assume everything went down the same way. That also changes the trajectory of salary he would be demanding/commanding.
In any case if Jackson showed who he was in 2020 and 2021, the question always becomes, do you pay market value for a great QB. And the answer is always yes if you value winning.
TB12 taking below average contract value for the position for two decades is an outlier and an abnormality that we will likely never see again. Yet people are still happy to trash him on the way out just because he took on a new uniform and was sick and tired of he way BB would never give him a long term contract extension.
I place full blame for Brady leaving on BB. He showed TB12 the door, lied and said there was no money because we had to pay it to a Guard instead, then shipped out that guard next year for a 5th round pick. Then the next year he claims he was 'forced' to spend a 1st round pick on a guard that he got rid of himself. Pathetic asset management.
Lol, exactly Jim. Losses when you're competitive and you lose because of turnovers are frustrating. At least it's fixable, I hope. If we can hold onto the ball, we should be in most of these games.
He can't wait because he has to get the ball out. It's not a 50 yard bomb, where he's buying time to go deep downfield. It's a shorter "will throw" route where he has to depend upon the receiver dominating the DB in a one-on-one situation. Parker claims it was a miscommunication. In other words, Parker's claiming that he didn't realize that was the call.
Mac has to realize what his strengths are and they do not include throwing the ball down field consistently. He should be fishing in shallow waters. He can be a very successful QB in this league by dinking and dunking.
