Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

So first day of padded practices. I’m anticipating some bulls.hit to happen.
I was just thinking losing Jensen is maybe the worst injury for the Bucs. I am glad it happened early to see if they can get a decent replacement but man, pressure up the middle is the worst for Brady. I wonder if there are more roll outs to start the season.

Compared to all these new high priced signings, the Bucs got great deals on Evans, Godwin, Gage, and Julio.

Pats aren't even trying. Parker seems like another 2nd rate Sanu or Aguilar signing and not anyone to write home about.

Well Hainsey was a 2021 premium draft pick that they were looking as a replacement for Jenson. So unless their scouting on him was way off, I think it will work out.

I'd rather see more quick passes to slot receivers and RB, and play action which Brady is the best at.
Rollouts have never been his greatest strength.

He is the third most important player on that o-line and also behind like 3 offensive skill players. And Jensen by the metrics of pressures and sacks given up is mediocre at pass blocking. Middle of the pack. His strength is run blocking because he’s a psycho.

Looks like Chris Godwin still being held out of practice as second week of training camp begins for Bucs.

Stinnie back working with the 1s today. Goedeke is second-string left guard, Walton second right guard.

Bucs are double-repping Leverett as the second and third-line center, with Molchon at left guard on third line.

No Jensen update from Bowles today.

Bucs center Ryan Jensen is having his injured left knee evaluated today, and those tests should yield more specific details about the severity of his injury and whether it will be enough to put him on injured reserve and end his season.

Carlton Davis says Julio Jones is still a “freak” - looks like a tight end, runs like Scotty Miller and stops on a dime like Jaelon Darden, he asys. Helps make the DBs better in practice.

IR no longer automatically ends seasons they removed the difference in temp IR and total IR.
Good, that was always a dumb rule which certainly didn't promote player health

Tom Brady turns 45 on Wednesday There are more than 100 players currently on NFL rosters who were NOT BORN when he was drafted back in 2000 We break down those numbers and examine some of those "kids" who will face the GOAT this season

Guess no forthcoming reunion with Brady.
This article has a good summary of where Amendola rates among the best pass catchers Brady has had.

Amendola and Edelman reminded me a lot Betty and Veronica vying for Archie Brady's attention. Just like Betty to Veronica, Amendola was in the shadow of Edelman.

Watson likely only getting 6 game suspension is much lighter than expected.
That seems fair. It's one game for every four women he assaulted (that we know of). He's a non-violent predator so it could get reduced

Tom still looking like he has the arm strength not like Manning in his last year.

Wirfs had a camp scare today but I think just cramps

Amendola was clutch in big moments for the Pats but he belongs in Edelman's shadow.

My favorite of all the Patriots was Troy Brown. He was completely under-rated in the NYFL.

Moss with Brady in 2008 could have been spectacular. What a shame.

Rub some dirt on it and get back in there kid.

His next media appearance should be good. Although I don't expect him to say much
