With Donovan Smith having today off, Josh Wells is working as the starting left tackle. He and Fred Johnson have toggled as the second-line tackles this week.
So many different looks in Bucs defensive secondary — today it’s Dean and SMB at corner in a three-safety look at nickel, with Ryan, Winfield and Edwards in there. Lots of changing parts.
Nice leap from Jerreth Sterns on sideline throw from Trask. He hit Kam Brown in stride on next pass. Rookie receivers continue to impress.
Good sequence from first offense in red zone: Brady finds Brate across middle for a score …
Then Fournette runs right for a touchdown …
Then Brady to Russell Gage for a score.
Nice breakup by Lavonte David as Brate tried to pull in a Brady throw in end zone. Nice TD to Gage in back corner of end zone on next play.
There's a really tough competition going for 5th/6th receiver jobs on Bucs' final roster. Could carry a seventh but feels unlikely. You've got Johnson, Darden, Grayson, Perriman, Miller and all the rookies battling for two spots, and one will likely go to the return guy.

This is all-important stuff: Hainsey (70) getting dried off and baby-powdered up in preparation to snap to Brady.
Look…rubbing baby powder on men’s asses sounds gay no matter the context. Sorry Tom.
Bruce Arians still has his golf cart and has been at every training camp practice. His new role is “senior advisor to the general manager” and he told me he’s really enjoying it. This is is vantage point. He stands back and lets the coaches coach. But he’s always there to support
Gardner is an undrafted rookie out of South Dakota State.
The Buccaneers now have no players on the active/PUP list. Both Gardner and first-year guard Sadarius Hutcherson were given that designation July 23, but Hutcherson was activated last Friday and now Gardner clears the list.
Thank God I was truly worried him not being there week 1
Just wanted to thank you again for all the info you provide in this thread.
