Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

This guy is at their camp so FWIW. Seems like the Bucs version of Justin Ramos. Maybe they think that's what it is but nobody would know this for sure right away.

He said in another tweet with a photo at camp that Jensen was carted off and he was not happy. That kind of reaction is usually not a positive thing...

Seems reasonable that he's giving a legitimate take, though not an official one. Usually if there's a torn ACL the trainers know right away because the ligament is loose, and an MRI is just needed to confirm it. Of course, once in a while the MRI contradicts the trainers best guess.

If they knew it was ACL we’d have heard by now. So they either don’t know yet or it’s not.

Well, proof that it wasn’t a non-contact injury. So that’s something.

Here is the full video of the Jensen injury at practice today. Wish nothing but the best and a speedy recovery! (Tweet should be shareable now)

Give us an update already you would know if it’s the ACL by now.

Buccaneers still are doing tests on the injured knee of center Ryan Jensen and hope to know more in next few days, but one source said this afternoon that it’s “not looking good”.

The Bucs are now looking at the possibility of having to replace their entire starting interior OL: LG Alex Cappa C Ryan Jensen RG Ali Marpet

The Bucs have signed tight end Johnathan “Bug” Howard, his agent, Lamont Smith, announced on social media.

Howard played with the Philadelphia Stars in the USFL and caught 30 passes for 371 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games.

He has spent time with six NFL teams since 2017 but has never played in a regular-season game.

The Bucs are waiving punter Sterling Hofrichter to make room for new tight end Bug Howard. Rookie Jake Camarda has the punting job, but we knew that as soon as he was drafted.

The players Brady has helped bring to Tampa is amazing. It would have been nice if Brady had more say in recruiting players to NE especially the last couple years.

"At least a couple of months" is not "the season". So good news I think? Kinda?
