Trust the process. No, I see you point and agree to an extent….all star teams don’t win a whole hell of a lot either
My point was simply I’m not crying over the process right now

Well ****…(I know it’s a mistake)
Since when does what's "on paper in March" make a damn bit of difference to the actual season?IF they are reserved in spending this year. It's quite obvious they have conceded that they had a couple of blunders last year. We don't have a competitive roster at all on paper right now. But alot of already Better Teams than us do.
Yes.. Because twitter is such a bastion of truth when it comes to teams and free agency..Sounds like it’s purely down to the patriots not wanting to spend money this year.. from what I’ve seen on Twitter

Some things are too obvious like the Patriots roster right now. Its weak and Lacks a lot of Top end talent. Even Ray Charles can see that.Since when does what's "on paper in March" make a damn bit of difference to the actual season?
Unless something unforeseen happens (major cataclysmic injury) to Jones, I expect him to get his extension long before the Pats have to worry about the 5th year option being against the cap.Can we worry about that in four years after he played his fifth year option?

What you see in March doesn't always translate to Nov & Dec.Ehh..... It's fun to talk about the team as currently constituted, and to compare them to the other teams of the league as currently constituted, but we're a long way from training camp, never mind from the season opener.
Right now, things don't look great. But let's all just remember 2 things:
- Yes, they do look as if they've fallen behind a bunch of other teams
- It's March, not September
The fact that you think that the contracts for Harry and Williams are having an affect on what the Patriots speaks volumes. No. Their contracts are miniscule and have only a minor impact on things. With their current cap situation, the Pats will be shopping at the K Mart blue light special for a while. The sooner they unload Harry and Slojuan, the .sooner they can shop in a higher class neighborhood.
Will Free Agents not be more expensive next year as well as they know cap is increasing? The fact that you think that the contracts for Harry and Williams are having an affect on what the Patriots speaks volumes. No. Their contracts are miniscule and have only a minor impact on things.
The Pats will have more than 85M next year (taking into consideration draftees and future signees this year). They'll have PLENTY to spend and won't have to be "shopping at the K Mart blue light special for awhile".
New England Patriots Salary Cap | Over the Cap (Note: Overthecap is only projecting an 18M increase in the cap from this year to next).
