OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I do not understand this trad (from the Pats perspective)
I don't either. I also don't know where the money for this is going to come from on the Bucs' side.

What the heck are the Bucs doing? You need a defense and how do they pay for all this?

My guess (and that's all it is) is that they've been restructuring/extending more than just Vea's deal. But I'm still asking about the money, too, because I'm still having a hard time seeing it all right now (though I can see how it gets done, I've not done the math on it to know just how much "it" there can be).

Ya for sure. I mean the Saints are now under the cap so anything is possible but the Bucs don't currently have a Dline and they have a DC that doesn't know how to play coverage. How is this going to work?

They've got Vea and Tryon, and Gholston's made it clear that he wants to finish in Tampa. The question is money. Will they have the money for those still out there (at least those not yet reported). I'm thinking first of

Gronk
Fournette
Suh

Gholston is a free agent I thought and for sure they want him back. Suh would be good too but he won't be less than 7 mil if he's feeling good. A guy like Bowles needs a rotation of rushers and please don't bring back JPP unless he's healthy and not the starter. Still missing bodies. Gronk is needed by tomorrow to negate his dead cap on his old deal and fournette is replaceable but they must want him, he was very good. They gave a good WR 10mil that has to limit options now especially with Mason.

Gholston's a FA, but he shouldn't be a bank breaker. Like you, I'm looking for a Gronk deal to be announced in time to negate that dead cap money.

Bucs secondary was so bad last year because they had an average of one healthy starter active each game. Eventually water finds its level.

They need to upgrade over JPP though on the line, he’s just too beat up now.

Tryon is JPP replacement and should make a jump this year that front seven is still elite

You should be upset the pats gave away their best guard, but you’re not a pats fan…
I'm not trying to be funny, but I've never seen that poster on the Patriot main page.

He posts on the main board when there is a thread about Tommy

I don't know what Bill is doing but there must be a plan in place. You have to expect that they will add a receiver and fortify the Oline for Mac.
