The pats are all set now; we've saved money and re-signed OG/C Ferentz.

You do realize there is a reason why Karras was signed by the Pats on an one year deal for short money? He wasn't all that good the year before in Miami. And there is a reason the Pats let him walk a year earlier.

Karras is a good player, but he is also a journeyman who is on his fourth team in the same number of years. He isn't Shaq Mason or Joe Thuney. He is replaceable.

The team is probably fine with Onwenu at starting LG, and Ferentz as Game Day backup center (the 8th Game Day OL). We can fine a backup OG or two, of we don't already have them on the roster.

THE ISSUE IS AT OT
Wynn is on his contract year.
We have no RT.
Herron is perhaps an OK backup.
A developmental OT will come from the draft.

We may see signings and acquisitions, but OT is the most critical issue on the roster

To put it another way, the team we have could probably start tomorrow except at PK and OT. Yes, obviously, we want upgrades.
