Compare to the Slater contract.

All long term contracts seem to be blown up possibly for two reasons:
- includes expected big increase in 2023, 2024 salary cap (agents know the ballpark already)
- big inflation coming

Still the TE market is just ridiculous.
Really glad BB pulled the trigger twice at the top last yr. even with disappointing Jonnu season.

I disagree. This process gives some power to the players. They cannot sign a contract. So, no matter what is tentatively agreed to, the player can change his mind after finding a better deal.
