Brady’s Back…

Big mistake

This will not end well for him.

He deteriorated this year.

His play only deteriorates when all his weapons aren't there vs quality clubs. Once Godwin went down, he struggled against the Saints (more than usual) and LAR.

I have to say, I’m surprised. Not that he’s coming back, but that he’s going back to the bucs. What was the point? It just seems like a decision that he would’ve thought about for a long time, it’s strange he would change his mind so quickly.

His kids must be really annoying. (I kid, I kid)

He never changed his mind. He played everyone.

Dude spent 5 weeks with his family and was like "nah I'm good"
He was with them before that for many weeks too.

I still don't get the notion that an NYFL player spends less time with his family than, say, any working stiff. When I was working I was averaging 55 hours a week for 50 weeks. My neighbor the plumber and my brother-in-law the electrician were doing about 65 for all 52 weeks.

To what end?

He said for years that he was going to play through age 45. Suddenly he changed his mind? Like I said, he played everyone. I thought he was angling to go elsewhere and maybe that's what he tried to do until he realized that TB wasn’t giving him away…

As @BTTA mentioned earlier, we're all guessing. My guess is that Brady thought that he was free to leave but found out differently. That's probably why he came back to the Bucs.

Which raises the question: how could he be that naïve about NFL contracts? Or did he think the world just opens doors for him whenever he wants an exception? Kinda strange.

I’m guessing he received assurances that they would do everything under the sun to keep that team mostly intact. You’re not playing at 45 YO for a team in rebuild mode.

Some of these guys sound just like the b#tches here at Patsfans. LMAO

Chiefs fans are better than our fans here. They're supposed to hate Tom

Absolutely not. No. He had trouble with certain throws. His hips are stiffer than ever before, and he was throwing flat footed because he couldn't generate enough torque when he wasn't set. In the past he could make those throws. He still had a fastball when he could step into it.
This is a really bad take. Brady had one of his best seasons ever by any measure. There was no noticeable change in his mechanics, footwork or throwing motion. He set an NFL record for most completions in a single season and he had the second highest completion% of his career.

What's your scouting report on Mac Jones? Brady, who you have declining so drastically that he needs to retire, literally does everything better than Jones.

Is that supposed to be a knock? His play deteriorates when his team completely falls apart around him? Godwin, Evans and Fournette all left that Saints game with injuries. AB also was out that week with an injury. Injuries are part the game but that particular situation was absurd. To use it as a spin board to say Brady always struggles under any circumstance generally is dishonest. Obviously Brady has won many high stakes games without all of his weapons.

I know right? Everything he posts about Brady is supposed to be a knock. Hes trying to in his MAC10 way that to say Brady needs to be carried. Notice the lack of agrees and likes after his Brady takes. No one agrees with him. Today the whole sports world is acknowledging that Brady's return puts the Bucs in the middle of a handful of teams to make the Superbowl. It also puts Brady 3rd in line for league MVP. How foolish does this MAC10's takes look? Lol.

You're obsessed with him. Do yourself and us a favor and put him on ignore.

In the past...
Everything is "in the past." Brady's won every other Super Bowl going back to 2014. So what the hell are you talking about? Losing by 3 to the Rams on a last second FG after wiping out a 24-point second half deficit? You're reaching more than usual.

In the past (in NE) he was able to carry average receivers to a title. He can't do it anymore. WHere was Brady in quarters 1-3 vs LAR? The Rams let the Bucs back into the game, or did you not see the 4 fumbles including the botched snap that went right over Stafford's head?

He's won a Super Bowl and finished second in NFL MVP voting. What the hell more do you want from the guy? Because he's had good receivers in Tampa Bay doesn't mean he can't win without "all" of his weapons anymore. He won a playoff game then lost to the eventual SB winner by a FG. He doesn't win the Super Bowl so he's not as good anymore?? After having the won the whole thing the season prior. You make no sense.
