I called this and it was too easy. I also don't have a problem with it. In fact, the NFL destroyed the power dynamic when QB's are making FU money at $40M-$50M+ per year. They are calling the shots now. The reason why Allen is getting involved is because the Bills have not been relevant since the late 90's, so the last thing they want to do is piss off Josh Allen. That's the smart move as it would be dark days ahead without him. However, Allen should also be having a private meeting with Ownership and/or Beane to let them know what they've done the last 5 years is completely unacceptable.
In the end, I still think Joe Brady is going to be the guy because an outside coach won't want to deal with the dysfunction. The only other option is that they look for a "yes man" or someone desperate to be a HC like Brian Schottenheimer who has been known as a D-list OC for his career.
