PSA: Stop Pluralizing BURROWS and other terrible things

It's too bad that Kraft doesn't agree.
Looking at your avatar makes me wish Kraft agreed to uniforms with blue jerseys, white pants and red sox to match Pat on the helmet. To keep with point of the thread, the red jerseys of the old uniform don't jive with the flying elvis color scheme.

I'm going to remember this... next time someone says Such & such player deserves the HoF because of pro bowls, gonna throw that particular pumpkin pie right in their face...
Well,

Neil Lomax, Mark Rypien & Marc Bulger also each went to two Pro Bowls

Drew Bledsoe (pause for heavy sigh...*) went to four (so did Jeff Garcia & Boomer Esiason)

Drew was also the NFL passing yards leader in '94 (so was Jeff George in '97)

Kurt Warner was 4X Pro Bowl
Curt Warner was 3X Pro Bowl

On defense,

Richard Seymour - 7 Pro Bowls
Vince Wilfork - 5 Pro Bowls

and

Houston Antwine - 6 AFL All Star Games

Ronnie Lott - 10 Pro Bowls
Mike Haynes - 9 Pro Bowls

-----------------------------------------------

Tom Brady - 15 Pro Bowls
Matthew Slater - 10 Pro Bowls
John Hannah - 9 Pro Bowls

Well, if you're looking for Kraft's biggest all time whoppers, you may think of him comparing Drew Bledsoe to Bobby Orr, Ted Williams and Larry Bird,

Or, "I hope Patriots fans will forgive me..."

Or, "I pray Tom stays here with us..."

But, when he bought the team in 1994 he sent a letter to Phil Bissell with a personal, hand written note:

"I too prefer the old logo."

Then he signed his name.

The "it's out of my hands" mentality goes way back...

Also it's:

"a moot point", not "a mute point"

"Could have"/"Could've" not "Could of". Same for would and should.

It's "I couldn't care less" not "I could care less" which literally conveys the opposite meaning to the one intended

It's "for all intents and purposes" not for "all intensive purposes"
Are we still allowed to have dominate teams?

The late Wilford Brimley's talks about diabetes became an internet phenomenon and a meme due to Brimley's dialectal pronunciation of "diabetes" as "diabeetus" /?da???bi?t?s/ contrasting with his overall serious tone, although both pronunciations have been included in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.-Wiki

Speaking of pronunciations in ads, I just about went crazy years ago when law firm ads concerning "measle-thelioma" were all the rage.
