OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Vegas pricing in a probable Brady return

The only times Brady didn’t win a Super Bowl or lose in the postseason to the eventual Super Bowl Champions:

2002 (missed playoffs)
2005 (Denver)
2009 (Baltimore)
2010 (NYJ)
2013 (Denver)
2019 (Tennessee)

Only six times.

I will say watching the Superbowl made me miss the man even more. He's become synonymous with that game.

That sounds a lot like quick-thinking Obama sounded when he spoke at Northeastern for Martha Coakley and was being heckled. His reponse was... "but but but but but but but." That was also the sound my son made when he was 5 and playing with a toy boat in the tub.

But anyway, back to football and the SB. The two teams who made it this year were the #4 and #5 seeds in their conferences. Had genius Bill not made the biggest blunder in the history of sports the Pats may have been in that game with Brady instead of Cincy with Burrow. At least Bill's kids and you are happy though.

Said all year the only thing that could stop the 2021 Bucs from winning it all was injuries and that's exactly what it was. A healthy Bucs team of course beats the Rams in the playoffs handily and I think Brady absolutely demolishes the Bengals last night.

I wonder what Tom is thinking right now. This could be him next year on top of the world again if he wants it to be.

Although I was rooting for the Rams, it wasn't surprising that the refs decided to help the Rams get that final TD.

For the Bucs or 49ers?

Unfortunately he's retired. He won't do anything half assed as some have alluded here

Patriots are now what they were in the Pete years in the late 90's - just another decent team in the league and one of several.

Bucs since they have his rights anyway. But could be SF too.
If the Bucs get another QB and Brady decide to unretire in July they may not have much choice to trade or cut him.

Knock on wood, I hope it doesn’t happen but let say Mac got a season ending injury, do you think the pats would be calling?

No chance in hell would either side want that.

Kupp is amazing and Stafford played well. Burrow wasted a key down on that last drive by throwing a ball to no one with no pressure on him and ultimately didn't get it done. All that said, game ruined by NFL. It was 4th down for the game and they call the first ticky tac penalty of the game. It's not the same as missing a face mask earlier in the game. Mistakes will happen, but calling penalty at that time is an intentional act. Absolutely rigged SB. The entire season was a fiasco in terms of officials controlling games.

Hard to see both BB and Brady agreeing to that. Especially Brady.

What, are you color blind? Look again -- the dumb clucker is ORANGE.

BTW, did your son join the Navy? Maybe buy a boat and like to fish or waterski?

OK, I think I finally have this figured out:

BB = STUPID and BAD!
Patriots = FAILURES!
Patriots fans = FORBIDDEN TO ENJOY THE TEAM POST-TB12!

That about right?

Watching last night made me realize the start to Brady's post-career where he went 10-0 with 3 titles is perhaps his most legendary and out of reach record for all time.

Wow, Burrow was so bad. You can't take all those sacks. It's not like it was a bull rush every time. He had time but would not get rid of the ball. Dan Orloskvy said Burrow is on his way to being the next Andrew Luck. I could not agree more. The Oline obviously needs to get better but he has got to get rid of the ball or else his career is going to be real short.

Picked this up at the grocery store. It recounts woman behind the goat with a ton of cool photos. Well worth it to grab it as long as you don't mind jerking off every time you read it.

LMAO we know what venecol is doing right now
