It's easy, and only takes a few moments.True, but his arm is in question.I think the question if Mac is a viable NFL starting QB has been answered. That’s a yes and that’s not really a surprise knowing what he was projected to be in the draft a year ago.
How high his ceiling is and whether he will ever be an elite QB in this league won’t be answerable for a while.
I’m confident that part of his game will be improved when he plays meaningful football againTrue, but his arm is in question.
People cannot say that there isnt a passing issue when QB coaches are commenting on ways that Mac can get more zip on his throws. Macs longer throws are rainbows that take too long to get there. In the Wildcard, Buffalo routinely played 8 - 9 in the box vs Mac and left him trying to complete check downs. Buffalo did not dare try that with Mahomes. Then there is the Buffalo 40 mph game. Do you mean to tell me that Brady or Mahomes or Rodgers wouldnt have thrown that night either? Of course they would have.
Every time that the Pats make a bad pick, the Homers go bonkers defending said player. They cant handle the truth.
I like Kupp, but no way is he the best WR in the game. Not even almost. He won't even be the best WR in the SuperBowl.
Mac was not a bad pick. His rookie year demonstrated that to be a fact.True, but his arm is in question.

BB tried to win this 2021 Super Bowl the old fashioned way.Mac was not a bad pick. His rookie year demonstrated that to be a fact.
Thats not Mac's fault.BB tried to win this 2021 Super Bowl the old fashioned way.
Great defense and great running game with sufficient QB play. To me, Mac is an Andy Dalton type QB good enough to hold down the job.
Right. I remember when Alex Smith (another guy who Mac is being compared with) truck stomped the Brady led Patriots. Twice.Thats not Mac's fault.
I feel you are basing an analysis on a rookie year with an offense lacking top-end talent but whatever.
With that said you may be right about the Andy Dalton comparison and I'd tend to agree it's a reasonable comparison as i've said the same thing.
My only point to your post was as a mid-1st rd pick, it was not a bad one.
The Raiders supposedly did ask for just a 6 originally, then Davis stepped in and asked for a 4.They gave the Raiders a fourth, the Raiders were pissed when they realized it was their later 4th, then they got 3rd in return for him from the Vikings.
Welker was a 2nd
Edelman was a 7th round pick as a QB out of Kent State.

Last year Joe Burrow’s arm was in just as much question and he is in the Super Bowl next Sunday.
Hey Mac, I know a guy who can help you with this.
It’s also wrong. Belichick wasn’t “ trying to win a SB the old fashioned way,” he is rebuilding a franchise around a rookie QB. And I don’t see the Andy Dalton comparison at all, Jones showed much more promise than that his rookie season. Triump’s primary point on this issue is “ they need to draft another QB, and that’s complete and utter bullish.t.Thats not Mac's fault.

With the Andy Dalton comparison I am comparing Mac's rookie year to Dalton's prime. It’s also wrong. Jones has to work on a number things, and get over a number of hurdles to become a great QB in this league, but he was a great pick at their greatest need, and the people crapping on him were proven wrong by him this year, but now want to rewrite history to claim they were right.
What is Alex Guerrero doing now a days?If he can drop 10-15 pounds of fat and replace it with muscle, his arm strength and mobility will improve exponentially.
If I was Mac, I would hire a personal chef who focuses on nutrition.
