OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Ben Roethlisberger +4
Patrick Mahomes +4

Nick Foles +2
Josh Allen +1

The Bucs coaching staff is the definition of stupidity!

Which sane HC let his starters and his banged up players play in the 4th quarter with a 31-0 lead.

Who leading 31-0 on D blitz every play with 8 minutes left in the 4th.

On 4th and 1 put your backup QB in and sneak it. It’s not that complicated!!!

Edit: I always said that Bruce Arians is a clown and it showed today. Brady should be MVP on the sole fact that he plays for Bruce Arians

This was the best front four that the Bucs offense could've face off against this postseason other than the Rams. They passed with flying colors, with Fournette back they'll be good to go.

Really? I didn’t know their D line was that good.

With Fournette sidelined, #Bucs have eclipsed 100 rushing yards for the day. Playoff Ke'Shawn and January Gio have done their jobs.

Mike Evans and #Gronk now each have 3 postseason TD receptions for the #Bucs, tied for most in franchise history.

Mike Evans now has 318 career postseason receiving yards, 57 shy of Keyshawn Johnson's franchise record.

It's the playoffs. There was still 6 minutes left in the third when it was 31-0. I am glad they left Brady in to basically hand the ball off. It was pouring rain and I don't want Gabbert fumbling it. Defense did play soft but part of that was to let the Iggles bleed the clock. I can't believe how bad of a QB Hurts is. Can't throw at all.

They did get 3 sacks on Brady when the game was still relatively a game without blitzing. Wirfs being down helped them for sure though

It's simple, folks: Cowboys win, they come to Tampa to face Bucs next weekend. Cowboys lose, Bucs play host to Rams-Cardinals winner. That's it.

They ran for 3.4 yds/carry. It was not very efficient.

Running at the end, when Philly was selling out and Tampa was just burning clock, lowered the overall numbers.

That’s ridiculous. I don’t have a problem with leaving them for the 3 quarter but at the start of the 4th put the backup in. Worst case scenario you put Brady back in if the eagle come back.

you can let them bleed the clock sitting back and give them the short stuff and force them to score 10-15 play drive not blitzing like crazy a leaving screen passes go for 20 yards.

Just a reminder:

First Bucs-Eagles game was 28-7, ended up 28-22 and Bucs grinded out the last five minutes to end game inside the Philadelphia 10. This is much the same, as they're at Eagles' 15 at two-minute warning, outcome safely in hand.

No they were under 4 yds / carry way before that

They won by 16.

I don't know what to tell you. They had multiple big negative runs when killing the clock, and those dropped the numbers down.
