OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Does trolling over Brady make you feel better after a categorical failure by the Pats for a second year in a row?

Huh? How are you defining "categorical"? (Seems you agree with The Tampa Bay Bantam, though.)

Nah a lot of the main board were rooting for the Chiefs in the Superbowl. Boston fans are weird
The main board does not represent the majority of NE fans.

Almost every Patriot fan I know watched and rooted for Brady with the Bucs.

The main board here is full of Belicheck fans. Any success Brady has without Bill threatens them because they truly believe it's always been Bill and he could have won with any QB.

Just read, after any win its all about how Bill is a genius but any loss and it turns into the coordinators fault.

It's ridiculous because Bill literally says it's the players that win and his coaching that loses, the exact opposite of what his cult following think.

Bill even says Brady is the GOAT and that he was lucky to have him. Belicheck fans completely ignore those comments because it goes against their beliefs.

And his reward for all of that was to be sent away over a few dollars and be ridiculed by many of the fans here. One of them even mocked him as Temperamental Tommy because he didn't kiss N'Keal Harry's useless arse.

If Tom had just told N'Keal that he's a swell guy and a great player, N'Keal would be a first team all-pro right now!

Starting CB SMB is out. Although he stinks, he's better than the guy who's going to step in.
Eagles are not really a blaze the sun out with passes kind of team. So this would be less hurtful than if David and others were not coming back.

I think people love Tom a lot he's the most popular player in the league. He led the league with jersey sales again this season. However his clothing brand sucks lol Very generic and super pricey
I have noticed that expensive clothes are very generic. I went with my son to fix his Iphone at the apple store and we walked over to this posh clothing store and they had plain white T-shirts with no log except for a small little thing in the bottom part of the shirt and it was 90 dollars. I think thats just how they are.

Agreed. It's also unlikely that they come out and throw it all over the yard to catch TB off guard since they don't have the QB to do it.

Belicheck is a defensive genius. He just gave up the worse defensive performance in the history of the NFL. A TD on every possession.

That's a complete and utter embarrassment to a defensive genius coach.

Now statistically that's the case.

Allen was incredible last night. I don't think any defense could have stopped him yesterday

I’m reading takes that the Pats still lose last night if Brady was our QB.

While that is probably true on its own it’s more likely that with Tom we are in Foxboro and playing a wild card team. Or even not playing at all and resting up for the divisional.

I thought Bill’s legacy would be secure no matter what, but last night’s game will be remembered for a long time as a symbol of the post-Brady Patriots. To me personally, it changes very little because I always thought the QBs reign supremely, so a team with an average-ish rookie QB getting smoked by a team with Josh Allen playing at a supreme level shouldn’t be a surprise. But I do think those who still believed in some 50/50 player-coach split with those two, are going to be coming around this offseason.
Agreed.

No defensive could have stopped Allen last night. He played as good as one could ever play position. It was incredible to watch him.

He threw impossible to defend passes and ran like a RB. I can't see him keep that up but if he does I don't see any team beating the Bills

Maybe I’ll turn on the TV and see was AB signed just prior to the game? Make it happen, Bucs.

He’s changed…he’s a new man now.

Tom didn't give the dead man answer about AB yesterday, but he definitely put distance between them. I wonder if that's made Brown wake up a bit.

Let's focus on the positive. Lavonte David and Shaquil Barrett are active today. So are CBs Carlton Davis and Jamel Dean. Now the bad. Sean Murphy-Bunting is inactive today.

All the genius in the world couldn't compensate for that undermanned, hobbled and dispirited group of players on the field last night.

Eagles have top rushing offense in the NFL. Bucs run defense will need to tighten up today. They’ve given up 100 yards in 8 games this season — twice as many 100-yard games as last year.

I have watched this Tampa team have injuries up and down their defense all year. I mean My god they went and pulled Sherman out of retirement it was so bad. They went 13-4.

#Bucs are missing their top two RBs in Leonard Fournette and Ronald Jones. So Ke'Shawn Vaughn should be RB1 today with Giovani Bernard and Le'Veon Bell backing him up.

I want a convincing win and NO INJURIES. Can we please have both? Please?

It got to where I cringed anytime a receiver was tackled and they got up kind of slow. Or a defender made a tackle and then all of the sudden they are in the locker room. Over and over. So yeah a healthy game would be nice.

Tom Brady has his sights set on his eighth Lombardi @brgridiron The quest begins today
