Eliot Wolf was part of the great 2021 Patriots draft, a welcome change from 8 prior years of crappy drafts since Floyd Reese left.

Wolf is the son of HOF GM Ron Wolf of the Packers, and was previously assistant GM of the Packers and assistant GM of the Browns.

Are we sure the Bears don't think they are courting Ron Wolf?
This is the McCaskeys we are talking about after all

It's interesting that it's the Vikings and Bears. Basically franchises nearby'ish who probably know of Wolf from the Packers days.

.

This is absolutely terrible.

we have to keep wolf!

we can not go back to those 2015-2020 horrible drafts orchestrated by bb and whatever minion happened to be whispering in his ear that day!

all those wasted second round defensive back picks! Wolf is here for one draft and he pulls off a beast of a second round trade for barmore!

bb blew a first round pick on a guy coming off of two acl tears! Madness!

bb overrode the whole draft room and took harry in the first round! More madness!

please keep wolf because Ziegler = caserio, part 2!

Why would you give credit for the draft to a consultant and not the director of player personnel who ran the draft?
Why would = Caserio be a bad thing when caserios watch had more success than any GM employed by any team right now has ever had?
Why would a consultant make decisions over belichick and why in the world would you want that?

He should sign with the Bears and hire Flores.

Makes the most sense having GM and HC familiar with the same program that youll likely imitate in Chicago.

Wolf and Flores never worked together.
Wolf spend 14 years in GB, 2 in Cleveland and about 20 months here, so I doubt the program he will imitate is the patriots.

I don’t think Wolf and Flores was ever in the same building working together.

Our old friend Monti Oseenfort is getting a interview with the Vikings and bears as well.
Maybe we get to keep the Wolf.

This is not that difficult to comprehend.

Obviously Wolf and Flores did not work together. Nobody ever claimed that they did. Both have worked for BB. Wolf has worked for Belichick and scouted players for Patriots system that Flores has attempted to copy. Flores was not fired because of his coaching.

So, simply explained, Wolf would scout similar players for Flores like he has for the last 2 years in NE.

Wolfs experience and decision making is in Green Bay. Why wouldn’t he hire a coach that matches that philosophy? Why would he adopt a philosophy he has only recently been asked to adapt to?
Flores never made the playoff so his coaching surely is at issue.

Fail x 2

Then Wolf has drafted Patriot players who belong in Green Bay.

Per Schefter, Flores was let go because Miami wanted to micro manage. They wanted some of his assistants out.
