Flores fired

I hope not really want him back here. Flores is the best person that left here.
Mike Vrabel says, "Hi." (Although that's still open to debate/submittal of additional evidence.)
Just to put this in context, the Pats lost to Miami last night for the first time we’ve been swept ever by them.

Despite that, today Miami fans are distraught and Pats fans are jumping up and down because they don’t have to deal with Flores in Miami for years
Don Shula says, "Hi."

"As another owner said several years ago when asked about the fact that Ross doesn’t live and work in his team’s city, 'I love competing against him.'” Aside from where Flores ends-up next, I think that about covers it. Thanks to Jonathan Kraft for the quote of the day.

F Don Shula, he’s still screwing the Dolphins

Can Flores coach our defense for the playoffs?

Only if you're OK with Little Steven throwing a fit and asking Fat Matt to bench JC for the playoffs. That's a No.

Why do people think Matty P. runs the D? He is our new Ernie..runs the scout team and makes free agency calls for us...

The D is run by Belichick-Belichick-Mayo basically.

...because the board is full of uninformed people.

I'm sure Fat Matt provides the same kind of info (tendencies, metrics, etc) that Ernie did.

They win 8 of the last 9 with Tua as QB and you fire the coach? I don't know every detail about the Dolphins but you would think he did enough to keep his job. 4-2 in division as well. Crazy.

Flores was 19-14 in his last two seasons as the Dolphins HC, and got fired. Here are the season records of the Dolphins since Ross took over:

But, apparently, feelings...

4-2 against the Patriots too....we only won down there once with the AB game his first season and again last year with Cam at home in week 1...

Knocked us if a BYE in 2019, KVN revenge game in 2020, one point win in week 1, and again yesterday... 24-25 overall....20-23 vs. the rest of the NFL...

Go figure....

I'm confused by this one. Maybe something behind the scenes I'm unaware of. Or maybe, more probable, the dolphins pulling a dolphin.

The dolphins message board is thrilled that Flores is gone, so there apparently there are issues involving the coaching staff over there...

I'd say it's at best 50/50, although most feel Grier should've been the one who got the axe.

The ugly truth of it all is Grier picked the wrong QB, and Ross just doubled down on that mistake.

This is what bad franchises do.
