A Frustrating Observation On N'Keal Harry

And the same "BB sucks" contingent are keeping it afloat... I've never seen more whining about a player making a million bucks in my entire football watching life.

I know it was the Jags and only one game but Wilkerson not has half the TD's Harry does in his entire career. Why was Harry starting over anyone at this point? He doesn't offer anything on special teams, still making continuous mental mistakes, and bad things seem to happen when he is involved. I am not saying Wilkerson is some superstar being held back behind Harry I am saying that was Harry actually better than any of the guys he was playing over the last year to year and a half?

Harry was starting over Meyers last year too.

The only WR BB ever selected in the first round is a complete bust, and now a healthy scratch that was handily out performed by a practice squad player in his 4th ever NFL game. Nobody is forcing you to come into this thread if it upsets you. Reality sucks sometimes.

Don't you come to Sunshineandrainbows.com with talk like that!

But we all knew this in TC. I know Harry had some big plays in practice, but who really thought he would suddenly become a legit WR?? I said this yesterday, but if Harry gets on the field again with the Pats, I'll be pissed and seriously doubt BB's mental capacity and his favorite mantra "best for the team".

I hope we still draft a receiver next year though. Especially if we have this new "draft" process.

I think this offense still lacks that guy who is open even when he's not. Who takes coverage away from other targets

That’s what the “BB sucks/can’t draft” crowd are faced with after this season… and it’s delicious.

We've had some poor drafts but I'd like to see the success rate with other teams in the draft. You always can judge someone by their worst picks.

But then at the same time he did find undrafted gems like JC Jackson and Jakobi Meyers. And seems to have nailed this year's draft with Mac Jones, barmore and stevenson

Yea but i'd put WRs on 3rd or 4th priority.

We need cover CBs/DBs, LBs, more pass rushers, an a space-eating DT/NT.

Harry was a bust, a bad pick.

They're winning games because Mac, Barmore, Duggar, Onwenu, Bentley, Damien Harris, Gunner, Meyers, Wynn, Stevenson, JC Jackson, Myles Bryant, JoeJuan, Uche, Jake Bailey, Asiasi, Winovich, Wilkerson and more were acquired by BB as rookies and are playing well.

The notion that Bill is bad at spotting talent has been blown out of the water.

Thank goodness BB and JMcD read this thread and benched Harry. Let the Kristian Wilkerson era begin!

Potentially a OT too, if Brown isn't back (and Wynn on the last year of his deal). It's always the double edged sword with the draft: It feels like you have a lot of holes every year, but that also means there's guaranteed to be talent available at your pick for a position you could use.

Respectfully strongly disagree. Never while the current oc is here. Pats suck at drafting WR and CB. 0/3 at WR and 0/8 at CB with high picks since 2004. If we have a different oc, then.... maybe. Pats did ok getting Branch and Edelman during periods when the current oc was not here.
