OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

What's funny is that the opposite is true. Brady is known for throwing passes to his receivers to avoid contact. It's the NFL, sh!t happens.
he may be the best ever at throwing passes to avoid his receivers getting clocked. but there are some throws you have to make where there’s a good chance the guy gets lit up. sadly that POS defender seemed to go right for Godwin’s knee. just like that scumbag Ward did to Gronk

He's made that same throw to Godwin dozens of times this season. People don't know what a hospital ball is...that wasn't one of them. Might as well take middle crossers out of the playbook otherwise.

sideline throws and deep verticals only

Hillarious how a "Patriots fan" comes here immediately to gloat about an injury to Brady's best receiver in what may be the last good chance of his career. Gotta love that.

One look at who the poster was, and it all makes sense.

****ing unreal. I've now seen Brady lose a star receiver to a season ending injury in five seasons. When has Rodgers, Manning, or Mahomes ever ****ing lost a pro bowl receiver? Ever? I've literally never seen one of these guys go into the postseason without Kelce, Hill, Adams, Cobb, Jennings, Nelson, Wayne, Harrison, Clark, Thomas, Decker, Sanders.

Gronkowski (2012, 2013, 2016), Edelman (2017), and Godwin (2021) now make five seasons for Brady. Five!

This is a devastating loss for the Bucs. They're now signficant underdogs. That makes a grand total of one game in the 2021 where the combo of Godwin-Evans-Brown-Gronkowski actually played together.
Edelman actually never made the Pro Bowl

And technically Gronk is a TE

The Saints defenders were targeting low on their tackling, regardless of who there were looking to take down. That was obvious to anyone watching the game for even a few minutes.

Well, I was told Brady single-handidly won the SB last year, so Godwin being out shouldn't be a problem...
Chris Godwin had 2 rec on 4 targets on 9 yards in the SB last year.

I mean I guess thats better than Chris Hogan's 0-6 in 2018, but not by much

Surprising to see he actually tore the ACL. Last we saw he was running on the sidelines testing it out.

Maybe that's why Brady told Allen to GFY

look at which team we’re talking about. no doubt in my mind they deliberately went for Godwin, Fournette, Evans and many others knees. they have a history of it + Winston

What’s the deal with Scotty Miller he’ll be needed as that third guy over the top

Devin White horse-collared their QB who tore his acl on the play...i guess it's karma.

Someone tell me how you go from being on the sidelines trying to see if you can get back in the game to a torn ACL? HOW

He's a shorty who's an OWR, and he's fast, but not fast enough to pull completely away from defenders. So he's generally dependent on the other receivers drawing coverage.

Adrenaline ? I'm not sure it is pretty crazy

The deal with Scotty Miller is he can only run straight. He is basically useless running route
