OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Don't know if that record include playoffs or not. They should just have all stats include playoff. It is games officially played and the most important ones at that.
Its not playoffs, they dont count playoffs in anything.

Yes, I would be surprised because no true Patriots fan would want Buffalo winning with a prospective playoff berth at stake. I didn't see anyone rooting for Indy last week, I'll call B.S. on that as well -- provide a link and I will stand corrected.
Yeah there were pats fans rooting for indy. This might surprise you but, there are pats fans that hate Brady. You should hop over to patriotsplanet sometime and read some posts.

Can he do it in 6 games? Gronk needs 2 more 100 yard games to get to 32 and pass Gonzalez for the all time lead for TEs.

I think Gronk getting 10,000 career yards would be significant. He’s at around 8,800. If he can get to 10,000, then no one can say his volume numbers are an issue when ranking him all-time, even if some guys are higher. 100 TDs is the same concept, and he’s at 90.

10,000 yards, 100 TDs, every postseason record for a TE…I think that puts him right near the top all-time on receiving accomplishments alone, and that doesn’t even account for his four championships, iconic plays, monster blocking and much better per game and per target efficiency numbers than everyone else.

Will be very hard to do imo but clearly he still has enough gas. With AB out this season he could get a head start on it but he'd have to also have a good season next year.

Some people also hate Santa Claus. There always will be "some people."

Patriots Planet is a bad joke.

AB is not out for the season
Yeah sorry just meant out alot. It's weird that he isn't even practicing this week and that he was on the field in some capacity prior weeks. I wonder if the nfl and team are just holding him out for reasons other than injury. Clearly he's hurt but last week BA says he should play this week and now he's not even at the facility.

Bucs Antonio Brown is not practicing. Jason Pierre-Paul was not practicing but running on the side. S Mike Edwards was not practicing. The rest were out there in some capacity during portion open to the media.

Ali Marpet seemed fine practicing today. I’d think he’ll be listed as limited participation, but he should be in good position to play Sunday.

Bucs rookie Jaelon Darden, still in concussion protocol, is practicing today but wearing a non-contact jersey. Still could be cleared in time to play Sunday in Atlanta.

Bucs corner Jamel Dean making progress and no longer wearing a non-contact jersey today as he recovers from shoulder injury.

Bucs corner Carlton Davis continues to practice and looks to be on course to be activated off injured reserve and play Sunday in Atlanta. Devin White and Will Gholston also practicing today.

Brady is the top QB. Does Kelce deserve to be that high?

Not many top Tight Ends in the NFC this year. There's Kyle Pitts. Kittles missed a few games. If Gronk has another big game against Falcons, he could garner some probowl votes.

This gets put to bed I think by Dec. 13 this year.
Remember when the pro bowl used to be the whole season? Lol

It's ridiculous that they finish it before the season ends.

Gronk won't have enough games to garner votes I guess, unless he gets something like 200 yards and 2 TDs the next 2 games.

I think a non pats/bucs fan would rank:

Tier 1- Gonzalez

2nd tier rankings interchangeable between:
Gronk, Gates, Sharp.

3rd tier
Kelce, Witten, others

If Gronk plays another year. He is up there with Gonzalez.

Kelce as much as we think he is overrated could end up there in tier 1 too depending on how long he plays.

I don't understand why they shorten it. It is supposed to reflect the entire regular season.

The #2 seed would be extremely useful to control home field everywhere but Arizona. It's possible that they drop 2 games and GB or TB somehow gets homefield but doubtful. I don't think you want to go to Lambeau 2 years in a row especially with it being even later in the year this time around. For NE avoiding BAL or KC would be nice but we'll see. If they split with BUF and win out and TB smacks BUF they should lock the #2 seed at the least which is crazy to even think.
