Was going to complain about Jonnu being a healthy scratch but then I checked and he actually was questionable to play on the injury report. Different kind of disappointing, but less severe.

With the Pats elevating LaCosse and Asiasi also dressing, could the Pats trot out 4 TEs?????

edit: Posted before I saw that Jonnu was out today.

Would love to see rham take this game over. Good test for our run game with our ol full strength.
Browns have one of the best Run Defenses in the league.. Going to be hard for Rham to take over anything against them.

Shoulder has been bothering him for 2-3 weeks at least, based upon practice reports, and they have another game on Thursday so probably smart to let him heal up.

Maybe Bolden to handle Gunnar's role ?

Carolina has a pretty strong front too, but if he didn’t get hurt he would have had an even bigger game there. Im not betting on it, but with brown back this is what our strength was supposed to be .

edit: my bad @DaBruinz just looked it up and Carolina’a run d is pretty mediocre lol yeah its not likely but lets see what our line at full strength is capable of

Slip screens, quick outs and draws hopefully cool things a bit for PA to be somewhat effective so they can run just enough for it to be respected.

Carolina's Run defense is in the middle of the pack. Browns are currently #2.

Browns - 3.5 YPC / 763 yards total on the season
Panthers 4.3 YPC. / 1005 yards total on the season.

If Stevenson is the Blount clone some of us think he could be, then he might also be a surprisingly effective KR for his size.

So, Patriots are dressing 3 TEs for the first time this year.. They have 4 OTs dressed as well..

Cleveland has a pretty stout run defense.

Things are going to be interesting.
Hopefully Stevenson isn’t held back too much with the injury. If this game plays out the way many of us are thinking, it’s going to be one helluva slugfest for the offense. If they can pull off this win, it has the chance to be an identity defining statement game.

I remember saying last week that with Garrett on the other side, this would be a great week to have Mr. Brown back... here we are! While I'm not sure if it's necessarily a good idea to swap him for Wynn straight-up considering there may be consistency or rust issues, maybe a rotation to keep their LT fresh at all times, or some six OL setups would be good... Interested to see how LaCosse plays into their plans as well in that regard.
Have Trent report in as tackle eligible?
