If OBJ is released by the Browns and is unclaimed, do you want him in NE on the cheap? (Update: Signed by Rams)

He's already been paid by the Browns, so I doubt any team is going to pay him much more than the minimum for six or seven games. Wherever he goes, he's playing for NEXT year's contract no this year. The interesting thing will be if any team offers him more than this year.

Accounts like NFLRumors, live for clicks. They will put something out over the course of a few hours to make sure they tweet about any possible scenario. Eventually when Odell signs somewhere they'll champion their tweet as the first to break the news ...when in reality they just tweeted out all logical outcomes..prior to the outcome.

Wonder how he talks himself into New Orleans then? Simian sucks. Just wants some home cooking for a while?

This is how I expect it to go on Patsfans in 24 hours.

If OBJ signs with our team: "You know.. I have always sorta secretly loved OBJ"

If OBJ signs elsewhere: Our team is better without OBJ. Screw him!
If OBJ signs with our team: "McD ain't using him right, no wonder he looks like shyte!"

If OBJ signs elsewhere: "There goes our deep playoff run!"

Throw enough :poop: against the wall, some is bound to stick!

So a writer from the Herald says the Pats are out and then Howe says they're still in. Wonder who to believe here?

We are better off with the younger QB who will (hopefully) be in NE for the next 10-15 years as opposed to the guy who is going to retire after next season.

Or sometime in the next 5 or 10 years...can you really say that Brady is going to retire next year?

Really all depends on what's most important to Beckham. I think money for this year will be relatively equal (or at least not vary so wildly that it sways his whole decision). So it's about where he thinks he can make the best impression on the league to cash in this offseason:

Packers offer the best QB, which could lead to steady, predictable production. Has to share the load with Adams though.

Saints offer the highest potential volume of targets, as he would instantly be their #1 WR. Rough QB situation though.

KC offers a chance at some "buzz", because though his numbers might be lower than they'd be in say Green Bay, chances are he'll be part of some highlight reel plays with Mahomes. Considering he became a household name because of one catch with the Giants, that may not be an insignificant draw.

Patriots offer the best coaching situation, and one he's talked up before. Rookie QB may sour that deal though, as would the very real possibility that they're still primarily a running team.

As long as he doesn't go to the Queefs, Ravens or Packers. Also, I'm quite surprised Brady hasn't lobbied the Bucs heavily for him. I know they signed Perriman but he's a JAG.

Didn't I hear that they team that signs him has to take on the remainder of his contract with the Browns? I could be mistaken, but I could have swore I heard something like that, maybe that was before they released him?

Only if he was claimed off waivers, which he wasn’t.
