NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 9: Other NFL games

Can’t advance it I guess

There are no really good teams in the AFC this year, though. So the question of whether the Pats can beat a really good team is irrelevant until the Super Bowl. The relevant question this year for AFC playoff purposes is "Can the Pats avoid losing to slightly above average teams enough to make the playoffs?"

You choose to ignore the eye/talent test because it puts the Bills in better position than the Patriots. Why do that?

To make the sort of argument you're making...

You mean the Miami team that beat the Patriots?

Again, I don't completely disagree with your point. But you're not being even with your analysis. It's not just one game, or even 2 or 3. Hell, 3 of the Patriots 5 wins are to the Jets and Texans, 1 was against a team that they'd waxed 45-0 last year and had gotten destroyed by the Ravens in their last game, and the most recent was against a team that had lost 4 of its last 5, and was being led by a QB who played as if he wasn't completely over his recent concussion.

The Patriots can only play who's on the schedule, same as the Bills. But "THE PATRIOTS CAN BEAT ANYONE!" sort of stuff should wait until they actually beat SOMEONE.

Wait. You say three of the Pats wins are to the Jets and Texans and ignore that three of the Bills’ wins are against the Dolphins and Texans.

I am not saying the Pats are as good as the Bills. I am just pointing out the double standard.

Looked like a football move to me

KC fumbles?!?

If the Chargers do end up losing to Philly, that'll put New England at the #6 seed.

whoever sells that table should use this in an ad.

KC makes me feel better abut some of our miscues. (Boneheaded mistakes)

Real talk Mahomes hasn't been a good QB this year

i’ll say it right now. On paper the bills are a better team, but that’s on a theoretical level at best. When it comes down to a head-to-head matchup, in a playoff game, I’m willing to bet large amount that the patriots are the better team. The beauty of this conversation is we will be able to see it play out when it matters most towards the end of the season. From football fans perspective, the league did us a good when they created the schedule they created this year.

i’ll be straight up, I’m more engaged and excited as a fan today, Then I was for the past 2-3 years of having Brady. Watching cam and the patriots last year seriously made me consider how much football I would be watching moving forward. It’s hard to believe how quickly that has changed. Football is a crazy sport full of crazy twist and turns. I’m in the group who believes you should always hope for the best and never expect anything. With that being said, I have a lot of hope in regards to the future of this team.

This kid, Love, is getting lucky. I like it

Boy, Jordan Love thinks he's faster than he really is.

Jordan Love sucks so bad.

I have one of those tables, never realized how sturdy it is
