I agree …..hate late games too….tough to get to work after staying up until 1:00am+!!!!!
My problem isn't work. I've only worked 4 days a year since 2008 and that ended in 2018. My problem with late games is due to age and my inability to stay awake.

I feel like a win here would be a major confidence boost for this entire unit.

Somehow.. gotta get it done.

I don't know what this means.
This is what I responded to: Belichick has to know that beating Tom in this game would quiet all the noise for the next 10 years.
This is what I responded with: Bill is not going to catch Tom by winning one early season game. Tom has a big lead.

I was referring to the posters thought that Bill wanted to quite the noise by winning this one game, when the truth is that Tom has started out with such a bang that a Bill win here won't make it much quieter. I hope that helps.

I think if we can keep Mac upright and give him space to operate, this could be a get right game for him. Tampa Bay is a depleted secondary and our guys are getting open. We know he won't say it publicly but if Mac can walk away with the W here.. you'd imagine it would propel his confidence into another level.

A David vs Goliath type win...whole world expects the pats to get flat lined by this incredible offense. QB is inexperienced ..more of a game manager at this point..

It's like we've sort of seen this play out before right? Heh.

Not sure, but you add a punctured lung to broken ribs and that can't be fun. That's going to take a while for him to recover.

It’s more than just a win over Brady. Today is the measuring stick for Mac. I want to see Mac’s coming out party today as the future of the Patriots. No more of this 4 YPA junk that won’t win a thing in the big leagues.

I don't get it...the Bucs said his x-rays were negative and then they put him BACK in the game last week vs the Rams.
agree, it was definitely handled a little strange.

So is this an injury that fully heals with taking time off?
Yea in about 3 months. Obviously everyone is different but it usually takes a good 2 months to heal from ribs and a punctured lung separately. 4-5 ribs and a punctured lung together is no joke.

He’s not gonna be out for 12 games. No chance. I just don’t know how good he’ll be.

Too bad we won’t see Gronk. I know things didn’t end that well with him here but would have been nice to see an acknowledgement from the organization for all he contributed here.

Some thoughts from Kraft:

Strahan: Bucs by 14

Kraft didn’t need to say that first part.
He knows we're going to start clicking as a team later on, I think he just wanted to let the fan base know not to worry.

Oh for sure we will. Just seemed like an excuse to me and not a great message to his team. Oh well
